Okinawa Gyokusendo
Surrounded by coral reefs and dotted with subtropical islands, Okinawa boasts over 600 stalactite caves.
The largest of these is Gyokusen-dō. Formed over approximately 300,000 years, Gyokusen-dō is 5,000 meters long and boasts over one million stalactites, making it the largest in Japan. (The publicly accessible section is 890 meters.)
