Queenstown is a place where you can feel the real charm of New Zealand's South Island.

#July Travel Support Fund As soon as I arrived, the scenery of Lake Wakatipu and the Southern Alps surrounding it unfolded before my eyes, just like a painting.

I enjoyed the fresh air and tranquility while walking along the lakeside, and the view from the Skyline Gondola to the observation deck was truly overwhelming. The luge experience at the top was light but thrilling, and if you wanted more adventure, you could try bungee jumping or paragliding.

The city center is small but has cute cafes, restaurants, and souvenir shops, so it was nice to leisurely look around. In the evening, I finished the day by tasting New Zealand lamb steak and wine at a lakeside restaurant.

Queenstown is a city where adventure and relaxation come together. You can enjoy both thrilling activities and peaceful nature walks, so it was a highlight of my trip to the South Island.
