Lijiang Old Town: A Blend of Old and New

#discoverchina I stayed at the quieter part of the old town so I was very pleasantly surprised to find such a boisterous part of town as I stumbled upon an entire street full of life with bars, pubs, karaokes, restaurants stretched fully across! It was truly magical and I wish I can regain that feeling again! Plenty of whimsical tiny alleys with beautiful murals or decorations and specialty shops (my favourite was one selling bells). Stay in Lijiang Old Town and explore it at night to experience magic.
