A Glimpse of Wonder! Encountering Osaka Castle's Main Tower at Night

In my sixth year in Osaka, I had never seen the main tower at night. I always felt there was plenty of time, thinking I could go another evening, never realizing that waiting would stretch across six years.

Tonight, on a whim, I finally set out for Osaka Castle. As night fully fell, the main tower awakened from the dust of history under the glow of lights. The warm yellow light gently outlined its ancient silhouette, with flowing eaves and bracketed arches like a giant bird about to take flight. The moss on the stone walls, caressed by light and shadow, seemed to tell stories of the past.

Standing beneath the main tower, looking up, the weight of history washed over me. Once bustling Osaka Castle, after the passage of time, now only this main tower quietly watches over the night. It was then I realized some sights are always there, but if you don’t appreciate them in time, even if they remain, the missed feelings can never be recovered.

Beside me, little EVE Bunny 🐰 with its round eyes bathed in this enchanting night. Its fluffy body shimmered under the light, as if also captivated by the beauty. Tonight, together with it, I witnessed a different kind of beauty at Osaka Castle’s main tower, a beauty that will forever remain deep in my memory.
