Place de la Concorde, also known as "Paris' last royal square," was constructed during the reign of Louis XV and completed in 1775.
This historic site is famously known as the location where Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette were executed during the French Revolution. The irony of a square built to showcase royal power becoming the site of a king's execution is a striking symbol of the French Revolution.
Today, it is a very open and spacious square where you can relax and enjoy your time.✨
📍Location: Place de la Concorde, 75008 Paris
