Just got back from Rongcheng, and I really don't recommend going in July or August—because it's way too much fun!

If I had to pick which seaside city attracts me most in summer,
Weihai would definitely be on the list‼️
Friends who haven't visited Weihai in July, take note,
You must go in August,
This hidden gem city will make you never want to leave‼️
.
Though Weihai is beautiful, it's very weather-dependent,
Bad weather means a wasted trip,
Heavy sea fog can obscure everything,
No blue skies or sea, and a gloomy mood🙀
.
⚠️Pitfall Avoidance Guide
1️⃣Huoju Eighth Street
An anime-like road leading to the sea, but go early or it'll be crowded and disappointing
2️⃣Weihai Park
Home of the giant photo frame, skip if weather's bad—photos will turn out terrible💩
3️⃣Swan Lake
Not recommended in summer (nothing to see), swans only appear in winter🦢
.
