Photography is not allowed inside Neuschwanstein Castle and Lindenhof. After seeing so many castles and palaces, not taking photos inside Neuschwanstein Castle is not a regret at all. However, Lindenhof Palace is more than just a regret. After visiting these two places, one can more or less understand the loneliness and seclusion of the designer, Ludwig II.

From Neuschwanstein Castle, you can see Hohenschwangau Castle in the distance.

Driving from Neuschwanstein Castle to Lindenhof, you pass through a corner of Austria, driving along Lake Plansee, with snowy mountains by the lake.

Unlike Neuschwanstein Castle, Lindenhof Palace is hidden in the forest, and it is hard to find without signs. Inside, it is extremely luxurious.

After touring the interior with a guide, just as we entered the garden, hail started to fall.

There is also an artificial cave on the back mountain of Lindenhof.

On the way back, we passed Oberammergau, a small town famous for its distinctive exterior wall paintings.
