Seoul Forest Park

Seoul Forest Park is a large public park that can be considered an urban forest. Originally, it was a royal hunting forest and a military inspection area. Later, it was transformed into a golf course, a horse racing track, and eventually a sports park. The park consists of five public gardens spread over a vast area of 1.16 million square meters. It is a highlight for viewing autumn foliage and the beautiful Korean cherry blossoms (potguk or sakura) in Seoul.
