Seokchon Lake (석촌호수) is a beautiful urban lake located right next to the iconic Lotte World Tower in Seoul. It's a fantastic spot for a leisurely stroll, a morning run, or just to enjoy a peaceful moment in the city. The lake is divided into two sections, connected by a walking path, and the entire area is beautifully landscaped with cherry blossom trees. The highlight of the season is the stunning view of Lotte World's "Magic Island" castle, which seems to float on the lake.
The Pokémon Town 2025 event added an extra layer of magic and fun to the already picturesque lake. Seeing giant, inflatable Pokémon floating on the water and scattered around the walking paths was a delight. The event created a lively and festive atmosphere, perfect for families and Pokémon fans. It was a wonderful way to combine a relaxing nature walk with a playful and immersive experience.
