┄┄┄ Head Spa at a Korean Hair Salon ┄┄┄

🗒️ I booked the WYOU Origin Hands Spa (70 minutes) for ₩140,000 in advance through NAVER.

(You can choose between a mechanical or manual treatment, and the mechanical treatment is recommended because it also includes a hands massage, so I went for the mechanical treatment on the day.

I also added a special treatment for an extra ₩120,000 for a luxurious extra.)

There was a pre-treatment consultation, where they asked about my hair concerns and the look I wanted.

I had mentioned at the time of booking that I speak beginner-level Korean and my sister was comfortable speaking English, so the consultation was also conducted in English, with a check mark on the questionnaire.

Although they barely speak Japanese, everyone was very friendly! I didn't feel inconvenienced at all.

During the head spa, I experienced a truly relaxing feeling, immersed in the pleasant sensation of the shower sprays hitting my scalp and the sound of running water.
When the treatment was over and the hot water was drained from the sink, I was surprised at how heavy my head felt.
I realized that a head spa can really make you feel weightless.

The finishing touch after the spa was dry hair styling.
In Japan, I usually use curling irons, but this time they used only a hair dryer and roller brush to achieve the results I envisioned.
It was also a moment that really impressed me with the skill of the salon's staff.
My hair quality also improved, and it has remained smooth and manageable even since I returned home.

I made an appointment for opening time at 11:00, and afterward, I enjoyed a relaxing shopping 🛍️ in Seongsu.
