Visit the Largest Greenhouse Garden in Asia

Shanghai Greenhouse Garden 🌷 As a nature and plant lover, I couldn't miss checking out the largest greenhouse garden in Asia while visiting Shanghai. Curious about what it's like? Let's take a look!

📍Address: No. 100 Jikun Road, inside Shanghai Expo Culture Park, Huangpu District, Shanghai

🕰️Opening Hours: 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM

🕔Tour Duration: It takes about 2 hours to explore all three domes.

🚊Transportation: Take Metro Line 7 to Hou Tan Station (后滩站), exit at Exit 4. (The ride is relatively long.) From the station, it's quite a long walk to the garden, about a kilometer. Initially, I planned to rent a bike, but bikes are not allowed to be parked inside the garden 🥹, so I ended up walking. However, the path through the garden is pleasant and enjoyable.

💰Average Cost per Person: Adults 98 Yuan (approximately 460 THB)

🎟️Booking: I booked via the Trip.com app and received a QR code to scan at the entrance.

🏖️Environment/Facilities: The garden is divided into three zones: 1. Sand Mirage 🌵 2. Clouds Forest 🌴 3. Clouds Canyons 🌷

💞Why Recommend: You get to see beautiful and unique plants in various zones. It's perfect for nature lovers. The domes are connected by skywalks, making it a relaxing and nature-filled experience. The journey isn't too difficult, and overall, I felt it was worth the visit 🥰✨

✅Pros: A chance to immerse yourself in nature, ideal for plant enthusiasts, with plenty of picturesque spots for photos.

❎Cons: The walk from the metro station to the garden is quite far. If visiting during hot weather, it could be exhausting. Bicycles and taxis are not allowed to drop you off inside the garden, so you'll need to walk over a kilometer.
