✨ If you're visiting Shanghai, don’t stop at just the Bund or the Oriental Pearl Tower — Yuyuan Garden at night is an absolute must-see!
During a recent City Walk adventure with friends over the May Day holiday, we decided to swing by Yuyuan Bazaar in the evening — and wow, it totally exceeded expectations!
🏮The classic Chinese architecture combined with warm lighting creates a truly magical, ancient atmosphere. It's like walking through a movie set.
⚠️ Pro tip: Walk deeper inside the bazaar! At first, we thought it was just a street full of food stalls and nearly left. But once we stepped through a narrow alley… we were met with breathtaking views — traditional pavilions lit up beautifully.
🧭 Yuyuan Area Overview:
The whole Yuyuan zone is divided into 3 parts:
Yuyuan Bazaar (Marketplace) – Free to enter
Yuyuan Garden (Classical Garden) – Entry ticket required

🕘 Bazaar Opening Hours: 9:30 AM – 10:00 PM
💡 Light-up Time: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
