Amazing hidden spots in Shanghai that Thai people rarely know about

If you’re going to Shanghai, you must visit Shanghai Expo Culture Park. It took 7 years to build, and the park is huge with many attractions. But today, I want to recommend this place: Shanghai Greenhouse, a tropical plant greenhouse with 3 themed zones 🌿⛰

Hall 1: Sand Mirage – This hall showcases desert plants, featuring beautiful and rare species like cacti and giant baobab trees that you usually only see in documentaries.

Hall 2: Clouds Forest – A tropical rainforest with mist. Inside, you’ll see a stunning artificial waterfall that looks like you’ve wandered into a South American jungle. There’s a suspension bridge above to enjoy the view and plants from a high perspective. The path connects to the Mist Valley, which has an underwater ecosystem tunnel and even salamanders to see.

Hall 3: Clouds Canyon – The mysterious Mist Valley. This hall has an abundance of flowers, combined with palm trees and rock cliff decorations, making it resemble a prehistoric forest from Jurassic Park.

✅ You must book tickets in advance to visit the Greenhouse.

🕘 Opening hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (closed every Monday except public holidays). Last entry at 4:30 PM.

💰 Ticket prices: 98 yuan on weekdays, 128 yuan on holidays and weekends.

🚇 How to get there: Take Metro Line 13 to Shibo Avenue Station Exit 4, or Line 7 to Houtan Station Exit 4.
