Romantic Notes of a Thousand-Year-Old Ancient Town🌟
Hey darlings~Today I’m taking you to discover a fairy-tale town next to the Magic City✨I’m willing to call Zhujiajiao Ancient Town the "Most Beautiful Backyard Garden of Shanghai"!🏯
📍Transportation Guide:
🚇 Metro Line 17 goes directly to Zhujiajiao Station, just a 10-minute walk from the exit
🚗 For driving, navigate to "Zhujiajiao Ancient Town Scenic Area," parking is super convenient~
✨Must-Visit Attractions:
▫️Fangsheng Bridge 🌉
The iconic landmark of the ancient town! Legend says releasing fish here brings good luck🐟 I recommend coming at dusk to capture the beautiful sunset~
▫️Beidajie Street 🏮
The most lively ancient street! Bluestone pavement + red lanterns, every shot looks like a classic ancient-style photo📸
▫️Ke Zhiyuan Garden 🏡
A quiet and beautiful Jiangnan garden! Rockeries and flowing water create a poetic atmosphere, wearing Hanfu here for photos is absolutely perfect~
🍜Taste of Zhujiajiao:
✅Grandma’s Zongzi (rice dumplings) 💰6-8 RMB each
✅Zharou (braised pork) Huge chunks for ultimate satisfaction!
✅Sock Bottom Pastry Crispy old-brand snack that crumbles in your mouth
(Secret tip: paying with cash is more cost-effective~)
🏡Accommodation Tips:
Recommend staying one night at a waterside guesthouse! The lanterns lit up at night create an amazing vibe~ We stayed at "Shuiyueju," about 200 RMB per person, great value for money💯
📌Travel Tips:
✔️Best time to visit: March to May, when the spring rain is misty and atmospheric
✔️Outfit suggestions: Hanfu or qipao for stunning photos
✔️Shopping recommendations: Celadon pottery and oil-paper umbrellas make great souvenirs
What are you waiting for, darlings? Follow my steps to explore this thousand-year-old water town! Don’t forget to like and save❤️ Feel free to call me anytime if you have questions~
