In Shaoxing, the mountains ⛰️ embody spirit and character, the water 💦 carries charm and grace. The August breeze brushes through the mountains and lake surface, with the scent of earth, grass, and the chirping of insects 🐛... Taking advantage of the weekend 🌞, I took little Jiang to Shaoxing for a two-day, one-night trip to truly experience the poetic and healing water town of Jiangnan.
🌟🌟 About Accommodation
We planned to visit the Keyan Scenic Area (including Keyan, Jianhu, Luzhen, Xianglin, and other four major scenic spots), so we chose to stay inside Luzhen. Stepping outside, there are small bridges and flowing water, willows swaying, allowing us to appreciate the pure and authentic Eastern aesthetics.

The hotel rooms are very spacious. We traveled as a family of three, and the king bed room was more than enough. Opening the window, we saw white walls and black tiles, instantly forgetting all worries. Sitting by the outdoor balcony table, enjoying the carefully prepared desserts 🍮 by the hotel 🏨, I felt unprecedented relaxation. Also, it was my first time staying in a hotel equipped with a Dyson hairdryer. As someone with curly hair, I found it super thoughtful—it made styling smooth and my mood great, haha!!

Note ⚠️ If you come by car, you need to park in a public parking lot a few hundred meters away. The hotel provides a shuttle to the lobby. The license plate number is Shao A666666 (really 6⃣️).

🎈 Luzhen. The hotel is located on Luzhen’s main street, so we headed straight to the town after waking up. The scenic area is built based on the descriptions by Mr. Lu Xun ✍️, blending old folk customs, architectural styles, and natural scenery. It is a microcosm of Shaoxing’s water town from a hundred years ago.
🎈 Jianhu. Known as the mother lake of Shaoxing, the lake and mountain scenery is stunning. The integration of mountains and waters offers a feeling of freedom as you stroll around.
