Shenzhen | Dafen Oil Painting Village

The whole street is lined with small shops where you can experience painting. The shopkeepers attract tourists by offering air conditioning. Not bad, my friend and I tried our hand at being little painters.

After choosing a picture, the owner would only outline a very basic sketch, and the rest is up to you to develop. Personally, I enjoy this kind of creative activity.

Originally, I was painting a cartoon version of a celebrity, but as I slowly finished, it ended up looking like someone else. No worries, it was still a good experience and quite amazing.
