For those planning a trip to Angkor Wat, the best time to visit is between November and February, the dry season. I visited during this time, and the weather was relatively cool, making it perfect for exploring the ruins. However, because it's peak season, there are a lot of tourists, so you'll need to arrive early to secure a prime sunrise spot. There are 1-day, 3-day, and 7-day passes. If you want to see not only Angkor Wat but also other surrounding temples, the 3-day pass is the most convenient. There's also a dress code within the ruins, so be sure to bring clothing that covers your shoulders and knees. Water, a hat, and sunscreen are essential for the hot weather!
