📍 Sultan Mosque (Sultan Mosque) Visit Review
I visited the iconic landmark of Singapore's Kampong Glam area, the Sultan Mosque 🕌. The golden dome, visible from afar, was impressive, and the building itself was grand yet detailed with intricate designs. The contrast between the white walls and the golden dome made it a fantastic spot for photography 📸.
The entrance is conveniently located near Haji Lane and Arab Street, making it easy to stop by while exploring the area. Visitors can only enter the mosque during designated hours, and you must remove your shoes and wear a provided gown if your attire is too revealing. The interior was not overly ornate but had a neat and serene atmosphere, with a large prayer space where you could experience Islamic culture and its religious ambiance firsthand.
One downside is the limited visiting hours, so you need to plan your visit carefully, and entry is not allowed during prayer times ⏰. However, it’s definitely worth a visit to experience Singapore’s multicultural aspect, and exploring the surrounding alleys makes for a fulfilling travel itinerary 👍.
⏰ Operating Hours: 09:00 ~ 12:00 / 14:00 ~ 16:00 (excluding prayer times)
📍 Address: 3 Muscat Street, Singapore 198833
