Riding the wind, a charming journey in Maokong 🌄

Tonight, I’m staying at the United Hotel Taipei, located in the heart of Zhongzheng District. With its convenient location and bright, minimalist design, it strikes a perfect balance between everyday life and travel. After enjoying a warm bowl of beef noodle soup, I took the MRT to today’s destination—the Maokong Gondola.
As the gondola slowly ascended, layers of tea plantations and winding mountain paths unfolded beneath my feet. The view was expansive, and the air grew fresher. The glass cabin made it feel like walking in the sky, with the silhouette of Yangmingshan on one side and the misty Taipei Basin on the other. Upon reaching the mountaintop, I sipped tea at an old teahouse, surrounded by the aroma of tea, the chirping of insects, and a gentle breeze, as if time itself had slowed down. When night fell, I returned to the United Hotel, where I could still see the distant city lights from the window. The tea fragrance and mountain scenery of the day transformed into the most peaceful dreams of the night.
