💞 Why I Recommend:
If you love historical artifacts, the National Palace Museum in Taipei should be on your must-visit list. Its collection of nearly 700,000 treasures spans the imperial courts of the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, primarily from the Qing imperial collections in Peking, Rehe, and Shenyang. Among the museum's three most iconic treasures—the Jadeite Cabbage, the Meat-Shaped Stone, and the Maogong Ding—are unmissable highlights.

This was my second visit to the National Palace Museum in Taipei. The weather was beautiful that day, and I arrived directly from the airport with my luggage. Having checked in advance that the museum offered luggage storage, I was able to enjoy the exhibitions with ease. I visited the Forbidden City as a child on a quick tour group, remembering the crowds and the fleeting nature of the sights. This return visit allowed me to fully appreciate the profound heritage of this cultural treasure trove.

I was particularly captivated by the architectural design of the Forbidden City. The contrast between the pale blue glazed tiles and the beige walls creates a striking elegance and solemnity. More than a treasure trove of cultural relics, it serves as a cultural bridge connecting the past and present, making it worth spending a full day to savor.

💡Practical Tips:
・Reserve at least three hours for your visit.
・Weekends are crowded, so it's recommended to purchase tickets online in advance.
・Lock service: Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
・Please wear comfortable shoes, as the exhibition areas are quite large.
・Audio guides are available for rental to gain a deeper understanding of the exhibits.
