Chasing Clouds and Hot Springs at Yangmingshan Park

#chinatravel Yangmingshan is one of those places that feels like a totally different world even though it is just a short ride from the city. The weather can change fast up there so bring a jacket or umbrella just in case. I went on a cloudy day and it made everything feel kind of magical.

There are a bunch of trails and they vary from super easy to kind of intense. I stuck to the chill ones and still got amazing views and fresh air. The sulfur vents are wild and smell pretty strong but they are cool to see.

Lots of random spots to stop and take photos. Some areas have hot springs and foot baths so definitely dip your feet if you get the chance. Public transport works but I recommend going early.

It is a solid way to escape the city without going far. Perfect for a half day or full day adventure. Totally worth the trip.
