Pushing open the carved revolving copper door of the Astor Hotel, it feels like falling into the set of a movie in the Republic of China. This is China's oldest foreign-related luxury hotel. It was once Puyi's ballroom, Sun Yat-sen's residence, and it also hides the century-old cultural relic elevator that Mei Lanfang loved.
🚖 Transportation Guide
Metro Line 3, Jinwan Square Station, Exit C, 8 minutes walk (on the Haihe River, just past Jiefang Bridge)
📸 Internet celebrity retro photos are taken here
1⃣ Under the crystal chandelier in the lobby: Wear a Hepburn-style little black dress + pearl earrings to take a silhouette photo
2⃣ 1924 antique elevator: Wearing a Hua Mood for Love style cheongsam and taking a back shot, playing with an old telephone
3⃣ Victoria Gardens: The light and shadow are best at 4 pm, and the floral dress with straw hat is the most photogenic
4️⃣The museum's spiral staircase: Take a wide-angle upward shot, dark-colored dresses are recommended
