This time, I discovered some treasure food spots in Tokyo that even my local friends who grew up here were amazed and asked, "How did you find these?!"✨
🍣【Premium Sushi】Ginza "Sushi Tsubohachi"
📍Address: 8-5-8 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo
This hidden omakase spot tucked away in a small alley in Ginza is simply amazing! The master chef even explains the types of fish in Cantonese~😱 The sea urchin melts like golden treasure in your mouth, and the bonito belly carries a faint fruity aroma... a true explosion of flavors!
⚠️Reservation notice: Book at least 3 months in advance! Walk-ins? Forget it~
🍜【King of Ramen】Shinjuku "Kagari"
📍Address: 2-20-16 Yoyogi, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo
This 18-hour simmered chicken broth ramen totally blew me away! The first sip of the soup was OMG~🤯 The soft-boiled egg is a dreamy amber color, and the chashu is thick like a steak🥩
⭐Tips: Line up 30 minutes before opening, or be prepared to wait 2 hours or more!
🍢【Late Night Yakitori】Shibuya "Torishige"
📍Address: 1-22-7 Dogenzaka, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo
The grilled chicken skin skewers are crispier than potato chips! The owner’s special shichimi spice is a secret family recipe~ Paired with an ice-cold beer🍺, sitting at the bar watching the chef grill is a must for Tokyo late-night snacks!
🍡【Girly Wagashi】Asakusa "Tsuruyayoshinobu"
📍Address: 1-1-10 Asakusa, Taito-ku, Tokyo
The sakura mochi bursts with filling in one bite!! The sweet and salty soybean paste paired with matcha🍵 is divine~ They even offer free samples in the store, I just planned to try some... but ended up buying a whole box😂
🍲【Wagyu Heaven】Omotesando "Kioi"
📍Address: 5-6-3 Minami Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo
The A5 wagyu sukiyaki is so tender that chopsticks can’t even pick it up~ The feeling of it sliding down your throat wrapped in raw egg... awsl! Although a bit pricey💸, the full-service grilling is super thoughtful~
