We ate our way through Japan, from hidden ramen shops to Michelin-starred destinations, and Ode in Tokyo stood above them all.

The food was strikingly creative yet beautifully precise, showcasing both world-class ingredients and the intentionality of their preparation. The beverage pairing was just as impressive- nuanced, balanced, and elevating each dish.

The hospitality was phenomenal: warm, genuine, and exacting without a trace of pretense. A highlight was the hand-made soba, presented during the experience with elegance that felt natural rather than staged.
