Vegan Taiwanese Lunch at a Tranquil Teahouse in Jiyugaoka 🌿

I had a beautiful lunch at Rengetsu-tei, a serene Taiwanese teahouse tucked away in Jiyugaoka. This hidden gem offers vegan Taiwanese meals, sweets, and pesticide-free teas in a calm, traditional atmosphere.

My lunch included:
• Sticky rice with mushrooms (zhuàn chuán o-kowa)
• Handmade turnip cake
• Peanut tofu dessert (huāshēng dòuhuā)
• Plum herbal tea (huāsuān méi tāng)

Everything was plant-based, but so rich and flavorful that I didn’t miss animal products at all. The portions were generous too!
