My own efficient one-day itinerary to enjoy Tokyo

#OctoberTravelSupport

Tokyo has so many things to see and do, it can be overwhelming to know where to start. So, I've compiled a route that will help you make the most of your day. It's a short route and easy to navigate, even for first-time visitors.

Start your morning with a stroll through Asakusa's Sensoji Temple, soaking up the atmosphere and traditions of Tokyo. Stop by the nearby shopping district for some Nikibee snacks or matcha ice cream.

Take the subway to the Skytree Observatory, a 10-minute ride away. If the weather's clear, you might even see Mount Fuji, so we recommend visiting in the morning.

In the afternoon, experience the vibrant energy of Tokyo at Shibuya Scramble Crossing and the surrounding shopping streets. Shibuya 109, Parco, and Don Quijote are all nearby, making for great shopping.

In the evening, take the train one stop to Shinjuku!
The alleyways are lined with charming izakayas and ramen shops, adding to the charm of your trip. Small bar streets like Omoide Yokocho and Golden Gai offer a unique Tokyo experience.

Even with a short itinerary, this one route allows you to experience Tokyo's traditions, views, shopping, and night views.
