We took our two young children (ages 4 and 6) to Yoyogi, and it was the perfect antidote to too many small apartments and crowded trains. The sheer amount of open space is invaluable for letting kids run wild and burn off energy without worrying about traffic or restricted areas. While the main lawns are great for picnics and ball games, the dedicated Children’s Zone near the dog run area is excellent, featuring decent playground equipment. Crucially, the restroom facilities are abundant and very well-maintained, which is a big plus when dealing with small kids. It's also incredibly safe and easy to navigate with a stroller, thanks to the wide, paved paths. We spent hours there, flying a kite and watching other families. It’s a genuine community space where kids can be kids, and parents can relax knowing they are in a clean, safe, and easily accessible environment.
