Stop thinking only about West Lake! The spring in Wuzhen is breathtaking.

“Spring is bright and beautiful, the water is calm and peaceful, the sky and water merge into one, a vast expanse of blue.” Compared to West Lake, I prefer Wuzhen's limited spring edition.

🍃 Wuzhen, this poetic and picturesque Jiangnan water town, whether you're a first-time visitor or it's your Nth visit, you'll be captivated by the spring scenery here. Stone bridges span the flowing water, and awning boats glide slowly across the Xishi River. Every corner tells the long history of the Jiangnan water town.

This time I came, I happened to catch the Wuzhen Good Life Festival, and I can't wait to share my 2-day, 1-night spring outing guide with you!

📍 Water Market: Open from 7:30 - 9:30 am, you must experience Wuzhen's morning tea culture and have breakfast here, but remember to book in advance~ You can also buy fresh fruit from the elderly vendors at the vegetable stalls!

📍 Caomubense Dyehouse: Experience the beauty of folk intangible cultural heritage techniques, admire the dyed cloth fluttering in the wind, and take amazing photos effortlessly!

📍 Longxing Field: In March, you must come to Wuzhen to see the golden rapeseed flowers! Enjoy afternoon tea at Tingfeng Pavilion, and gaze out the window at a "sea of yellow flowers." You can also stroll around the market next to Longxing Field, order a cup of coffee at the Huaban Traveler Cafe, and take some beautiful photos!

📍 Zhaoming Academy: Now is the perfect time to photograph plum blossoms! There are two large red plum trees in the courtyard. You can use the window as the foreground and view the plum blossoms through the window, creating a poetic scene.

📍 Wucun: There are internet-famous tree houses, scarecrows, and you can also experience fishing, archery, and activities like "Running Piglets." It's perfect for bringing children along!

🍱 Food and Drink:
For lunch, you can try Wuzhen's special delicacies. I recommend going to Houjie Restaurant to try Yehuo Rice. Sitting by the river, enjoying the scenery and delicious food is incredibly relaxing.
For dinner, you can go to Manchun Night Market for a hot pot and night drinks. At the Lingshui Residence's "Easy to Fall in Love" Hot Wine House, you can have spring-limited drinks, which are very warming. Everyone eats around the stove together, creating a wonderful atmosphere!

🏠 Accommodation: This time I stayed at the Jintang Hotel, where you can feel the breath of spring right in the hotel. The hotel is antique and elegant, with the feel of a Jiangnan garden. You can also participate in the hotel's singing bowl healing to relax your body and mind. The hotel also has a dedicated fragrance room! Most importantly, it's located in the middle of West Street, making it convenient to go anywhere!

1️⃣ Spring is the most beautiful season in Wuzhen, and the rapeseed flower fields are particularly spectacular at this time. Don't miss it.
