Two water towns very close to each other, the trip to Nanxun and Wuzhen

A spontaneous May Day holiday trip!
Originally planned a self-driving tour to Yangzhou to visit Slender West Lake🏞️
But the moment we got on the highway, it turned into a parking lot🅿️
Decisively turned around❗️Randomly unlocked a lesser-known Jiangsu-Zhejiang water town CP👏

─── 𝗗𝗔𝗬𝟭 Nanxun Ancient Town ───
📍Address: No. 51 Renrui Road, Nanxun District, Huzhou City
🎫Ticket: Free
⏰Open: All day (even more beautiful at night)

The first stop was an unexpected find, Nanxun Ancient Town✨
Every casual shot is wallpaper-worthy scenery on your phone📸
The small bridges and flowing water combined with white walls and black tiles of traditional Chinese architecture create a charming contrast
Wandering aimlessly on the stone-paved roads🚶
Met many ladies in Hanfu taking beautiful photos👘
Ps. It’s recommended to wear light-colored clothes for better photos!

─── 𝗗𝗔𝗬𝟮 Wuzhen West Scenic Zone ───
📍Address: No. 18 Shifo South Road, Tongxiang City
🎫Ticket: 100 RMB (definitely worth the price)
⏰Open: 24 hours (recommend reserving a full day)

On the second day, moved to Wuzhen West Scenic Zone🏮
More commercialized but with a livelier atmosphere
Muxin Art Museum + Dyeing Workshop + Local Food Street are all great to explore!
Be sure to take a rowing boat to experience the charm of the Jiangnan water town🛶
Recommended to try Ding Sheng Cake and Malantou Smoked Tofu🍡

💡Tips:
▪️The two ancient towns are half an hour apart by car, self-driving is recommended🚗
▪️Better to avoid weekends and holidays for a better experience
▪️It’s recommended to stay inside the Wuzhen scenic area to enjoy the tranquility of the early morning without crowds
