🇮🇩Standing on the Edge of Fire: my Bromo Awakening🌋

#summervacay Mount Bromo is one of Indonesia’s most iconic and active volcanoes, located in East Java and part of the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park.

Famous for its epic sunrise views and surreal volcanic terrain, it offers a truly unforgettable adventure that feels like stepping onto another planet🪐

We stayed at Plataran Bromo hotel and started our journey where early-morning jeep tours begin around 3am. It took half an hour to reach the Bukit Cinta Sunrise Viewpoint to wait for the sunrise.

The tour then continue to the Mount Bromo crater itself. Tourist may choose to walk but I chose to took a horseback ride through the sea of sand to reach the staircase leading to the crater. The climb to the crater involves a short but steep walk, followed by around 250 steps.

The view from the top? Breathtaking in every way🔥

You’ll witness a live smoking volcano, feel the chill of the morning air, and be rewarded with one of the most dramatic landscapes in Southeast Asia. It’s a must-do for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone craving a unique bucket list adventure🌋
