A Short Trip to Vientiane

Vientiane, the capital city of Laos
During the long holiday, I took my family on a short trip to Laos.

- Patuxai (Victory Gate)
- Pha That Luang
- Night Market

For this trip, we crossed the border at Nong Khai and rented a van in Laos to take us to the hotel and back to the border. Most of our transportation was arranged through Loca, which was convenient and reasonably priced. We also tried Kokkok Move, but due to a registration error with the phone number on the first day, we ended up using it only on the last day 😂.

Patuxai was recommended by locals to visit in the evening, but it turned out to be crowded, making it hard to take photos. If you’re looking for a relaxing spot, the night market is a great choice with a nice view. However, beware of mosquitoes—they can be quite bothersome!
