Zhejiang Taizhou offers better value for money‼️ Escaping the city of Hangzhou, I headed to the seaside of Wenling in Taizhou. Stone houses of various sizes built against the mountains, and the colorful Xiaoluo Village are distinctive features of Shitang in Wenling. Houses of various colors stand by the sea, and climbing Qilin Mountain at dusk to watch the sunset🌅 fulfilled all my fantasies of a summer island getaway.

🚄: Take the high-speed train to Wenling Station, then transfer to Bus 232 to Shitang Town

Two-day, one-night itinerary:
Day 1️⃣: Arrive in Wenling ➡️ Check into a homestay ➡️ Xiaoluo Village ➡️ Watch the sunset at Qilin Mountain🌅
Day 2️⃣: Dui Jie (Ring) Viewing Platform ➡️ Binhai Greenway ➡️ Jinsha Beach ➡️ Return trip

✅ Xiaoluo Village
Known as the "Italian Cinque Terre," the village features houses in vibrant colors, creating a fairytale-like scene. At sunset, the village looks stunning under the golden light🌅. You can also climb to the viewing platform at the top of Qilin Mountain for a panoramic view of the fishing village.

✅ Jinsha Beach
Located right below my homestay, the beach has fine sand and a beach playground offering activities like floating bridge surfing and slides. You can also experience sea outings, beachcombing, and swimming.

✅ Binhai Greenway
An 8-kilometer coastal walkway connecting multiple attractions, featuring waterfront boardwalks, viewing platforms, and rest areas. It offers stunning views of the Shitang Peninsula's mountain and sea scenery.

✅ Dui Jie (Ring) Viewing Platform
Shaped like a pair of rings, symbolizing romance, the platform provides views of the scattered stone houses of the fishing village and the romantic seascape of Jinsha Bay.

Accommodation recommendation🏠
I stayed at Xiuheng Stone House, which has excellent views—just open the window to see the ocean🌊. Breakfast is provided in the morning, and it's just a 5-10 minute walk to the beach🏝️, making it very convenient.
