Some suggestions for visiting western Sichuan during the off-season.

Winter is the real off-season for tourism in western Sichuan, but it is also the time when it snows a lot and the scenery is beautiful. The snowy scenery, few people and stable weather make the travel experience really good🏔️
Not recommended
Daocheng Yading: During this period, Daocheng Yading has few vegetation and monotonous scenery. If you only want to see the Three Sacred Mountains, you can go, but if you want to see the Daocheng Yading you imagined, it is recommended to go in summer.
Moshi Park: It is too desolate at this time but it has beauty. The strange rocks are eye-catching and stunning only in summer when paired with lush green meadows.
Lenggacuo/Zimei Pass: These two legendary scenic spots have been closed and will not open until May.
All grassland attractions (Tagong Grassland, Ruoergai Grassland, etc.): The grass is barren and the land is bald, so it is not recommended to visit.

Bipenggou: Great for taking photos, whether it is portraits or landscapes.
Jiuzhaigou: The king of waterscapes in western Sichuan, with distinct scenery in each season, you will never be disappointed no matter when you come.
Dagu Glacier: The closest glacier to the city, perfect for taking photos.
Siguniang Mountain: Snow forests and snow mountains complement each other.
Huanglong: Huanglong's winter scenery is fresh, lively and exquisite
Hailuogou: There is a huge amount of snow and the snow scenery is perfect. There are astonishingly huge glaciers, and you can also appreciate the elegance of Gongga, the king of Sichuan Mountains.
Niubei Mountain: The best viewing platform for the Snow Mountain and Rizhao Jinshan in winter
