I only had 12 hours in Xi’an but I made the most of it.
First, I booked a hotel near the city wall so that when I woke up I could easily explore it.
The city wall was magnificent. I hired a bike on top of the wall and rode around it.
From the exit, I ordered a Didi (taxi) to the pagoda. I also bought a ticket to enter the pagoda. I climbed to the top of the pagoda and was able to get a great view of the courtyard.
When in Xi’an, grab yourself a Chinese hamburger (roujiamo - pronounced row - gee - uh - more) and some Biang Biang noodles. You won’t regret eating these foods and you can find them everywhere!
