When you come to Xiamen, how can you not visit this Buddhist temple with a history of more than a thousand years?

#Mainland Travel
Xiamen, a city with profound historical and cultural heritage, has many religious sites.

The Nanputuo Temple that I recommend you to visit this time is located on Siming South Road, Siming District, Xiamen City, Fujian Province. Nanputuo Temple is a Buddhist temple with a very long history, first built in the late Tang Dynasty. Sizhou Temple is its old name. As a Buddhist temple with a history of more than a thousand years, Nanputuo Temple showcases the charm of Chinese Buddhism to visitors from all over the world.

The scenery inside the temple is beautiful. During my visit, I truly felt the tranquility of Buddhism. Many tourists worship Buddha devoutly in the temple. Even if you are not a Buddhist, you can still stroll around the temple and quietly appreciate the Buddha statues and buildings.

If you are interested in history, culture and religious beliefs, don't miss visiting the magnificent Nanputuo Temple when you visit Xiamen. Nanputuo Temple is very close to the Xiamen University (Nanputuo) bus station. Starting from Xiamen University (Nanputuo) Station, it takes about a few minutes’ walk to reach the Heavenly King Hall of Nanputuo Temple.
