Haicang Tianyu Ark | Reach the "Victoria Peak" of Xiamen.

Today, I hiked for 2 hours to reach the highest point of Haicang's Caijianwei Mountain—Tianyu Ark Meteorological Science Park, standing at an altitude of 384 meters. The mountain breeze was refreshing, the air carried a faint salty scent, and the expansive view was breathtaking.
Beneath your feet lies a deep green valley, while the distant city is bathed in golden hues by the setting sun. Continuing upward, you’ll arrive at the main area of the meteorological station—the massive ⚽-shaped radar dome on the rooftop is the "technological heart" of this place.
The building’s design draws inspiration from ancient "Si Nan" and "Zhi Nan Fish," resembling a Noah's Ark ready to set sail. Hence the name "Tianyu Ark," symbolizing dialogue with the sky and harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature.

Location
Caijianwei Mountain, Haicang District, Xiamen City · Tianyu Ark Meteorological Science Park

Drive or take a Didi directly to the top; parking is available at the summit.
