Xingping Ancient Town is located in the northeast of Yangshuo. It boasts eight major scenic areas and 24 scenic spots, including Nine Horses Painting Mountain, Luosi Mountain, Lotus Rock, Tianshui Village, Lingbao Pavilion, Xingping Ancient Street, Laozhaishan Friendship Pavilion, Presidential Fishing Village, Huangbu Beach, Luotian Dayan, Xitang Tianhu Lake, Songping Dragon, Tengjiao Temple, Dayuan Forest Farm, and the scenery of Dahebei (featured on the 20 RMB note).

Xingping Ancient Street is paved with stone slabs, giving it a quaint and antique feel. The street is lined with restaurants, snack shops, cafes, souvenir shops, shops renting ethnic minority clothing, boutiques, and clothing stores.
