A Place for Fairies

Starting in Kunming, flowers and sunshine are the hallmarks of this city. Walking along Cuihu Lake, feeding seagulls, and watching elderly people play chess, I felt the vibrant energy of everyday life. The pace here is slow, yet every step is relaxing.
Came on the high-speed train to Dali, where the blue sky, white clouds, and Erhai Lake resemble a moving ink painting. Cycling along Erhai Lake, with the clear water on one side and the cozy houses and cafes on the other, it feels as if time has stood still. I highly recommend staying overnight in Shuanglang; being awakened by the morning sun over Erhai Lake is a luxurious bliss.
Finally, arriving in Lijiang, the ancient city at night feels like a dream. Standing on Sifang Street, watching the night slowly light up, the alleys tinged with the sound of guitars and the aroma of wine. Looking up at the stars, looking down at the bluestone pavement, it feels romantic and authentic. The snow on Jade Dragon Snow Mountain also makes one feel the vastness of the world, yet the inner peace is extraordinary.
Three cities, mountains, waters, and people with stories. This trip to Yunnan is not just about seeing the scenery, but about finding oneself.
