This time, I joined a one-day tour to visit this windmill village located on the Zaan River. Zaanse Schans is known as the "Dutch Windmill Museum." In the 1970s, around 35 well-preserved traditional Dutch windmills and houses were relocated to the museum area.

At Zaanse Schans, you can follow the planned trails to admire each windmill along the way. You can also enter many unique shops to see handmade crafts being created. Some windmills are open for visitors with tickets. Additionally, the 🧀 cheese factory and 🪵 wooden clog factory are open for tasting and purchasing souvenirs☺️
