My Gornergrat Adventure in Zermatt

Standing on Gornergrat with the Matterhorn right in front of me was honestly surreal. Just the train ride up was a dream, with panoramic views of glacial rivers, valleys and snow-capped mountains all around. At the top, you walk out walled in by 29 alpine giants and the air is definitely thin enough there to hit differently.

I couldn't stop looking at the Matterhorn, it was so sharp, so iconic and, in real life, so impressive. It was freezing but peaceful and I felt, in a way, like I was floating above the earth.

I imagine you could easily spend the day and never tire of taking in the views. If you're ever in Zermatt, don't skip Gornergrat. It's magic up there, especially when the skies are blue.
