Tianmen Cave (天门洞, literally “Heaven’s Gate Cave”) is located on Tianmen Mountain, just 8 kilometers (5 miles) south of Zhangjiajie City in Hunan Province, China.

It’s part of the Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park, a popular destination in the Wulingyuan Scenic Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
