The desk clerk at our hotel recommended Albert's, and we were very glad that he did. We wanted a light supper so we ordered crunchy chickpeas (advertised as a snack), golden beet and halloumi salad, and lemon and walnut brussels sprouts. I had a Manhattan and my husband had a beer. The salad and the sprouts were excellent. The crunchy chickpeas were not. They were hard and pretty flavorless. However, the rest of the meal made up for that. The ambiance is very pleasant, if a little noisy (but then, we're old).

Stopped in for drinks after a warm walk in Central Park. Great selection of craft beers. The bartender was friendly and efficient. Loved the atmosphere. We will definitely return. Highly recommended!

What a find! Due to a snowstorm, my lunch reservation at another restaurant was cancelled and I was left to research a last minute alternative near our Grand Central hotel. Albert's Bar had me at "Bottomless Brunch" (90 minutes of Bloody Mary, Mimosa, Bellini) It was so much more! Beautiful space, nice vibe, pleasant server and all our food selection were excellent.

My partner and I had the most wonderful experience in Albert’s. The attention to detail was next to none and every staff member was so attentive. Our waitress Lydia couldn’t have been more helpful we cannot wait to return.

Having spent most of the day exploring Central Park and Midtown, my wife and I needed somewhere to take a break and rest our feet. We found Albert's on google maps and took a punt on the place - and that turned out rather well. Albert's is a tranquil oasis amid the chaos of Midtown. The interior is spacious, chic and modern. My wife an I decided to share a chicken sandwich, which was decently priced at $18 and very tasty. Staff were nice too. Would recommend!

We were walking in New York at eleven pm. Without reservation or expectative we search and find this place. No expectatives. Big surprise! Amazing drinks by Carly. The best Martini I had in my life. And...snacks? better than a planned dinner. I will always remember with a smile this place. I hope to came back soon. In my country lousy places are always promoted as the best bar in the 50's list of who knows, this is way better. Thank you Albert's you saved my birthday!

Way too loud. Too many people just standing around and you couldn’t have a dinner conversation. Need to get rid of the music that people are competing with. Waitress was rude. Chicken sandwich was good but no side was served.

Trendy bar in midtown. Great selection of drinks and not too pricy for NYC. Good looked good, but didn’t eat on this occasion.
Wonderful, spacious restaurant with oldtime NY feel
Beautiful, old-timey interior, with a gorgeous bar, and excellent burgers and chicken sandwiches. A welcome midtown oasis!
