Had the Manicotti and it was delicious! (The bread that was served before the meal had almost no taste.) The restaurant is quite plain looking, but that's not a problem. The entree was so good. The prices are very reasonable.

My husband and I had been to Albi's three times prior with his family and our kids. This time it was only me and him. We arrived around 4 something on a Tuesday. We were seated right away, and our waitress arrived not much longer afterwards to bring us the complimentary bread and dipping oil and take our drink order. Nichole (Nicky) was our waitress, and she was awesome! She was super nice and friendly. Fantastic service from her all around. I had the spaghetti and meatballs since it was so good the last time I had it. My husband opted for the special which was steak, shrimp, and mushroom linguine. We didn't have to wait too long for our food. My husband's steak was cooked to perfection. He ordered it medium rare, and it was done just like that. He said his food was delicious! My spaghetti and meatballs weren't that great. There was too much sauce this time! My pasta was drowning in the sauce! Seriously, it was hard to see the pasta as the sauce was mostly all there was. Every bite was just sauce. While the sauce did taste good, it was way too overwhelming, and it was all I could taste. The meatballs were tasty, but they were covered in too much sauce. I was disappointed this go round with my spaghetti and meatballs. Overall, the service was fantastic. However, if this had been my first time to Albi's, I probably would never go back after the spaghetti fiasco, but since I've always enjoyed it the previous three times, I'd be willing to give them one more chance. Hopefully they won't drown every dish in sauce next time.

Ordered a glass of Prosecco. Given a very small wine glass 1/3 full with flat wine! 10.00. Oliver oil for dipping bread was rancid. Salad was good. Service was good. Chicken Picatta was tasteless! Grill marks on chicken nice, but otherwise flat.

We took my parents here for their anniversary and had a wonderful and enjoyable experience. The staff was gracious, quick and attentive and rhe food was phenomenal. The homemade bread was fabulous and dessert was decadent. We all had four different pasta dishes and I had their lasagna. I highly recommend it. Thanks for treating my parents to a wonderful 54th Anniversary.

Visited this place three times within the 13 days of our trip to San Antonio. It was myself, my husband, our two boys, and my mother-in-law and father-in-law who were visiting from England. The first time we went to Albi's, it was the 6 of us meeting up with my friend and her husband. Service was fantastic! I had the Don's pizza, and it was so good. The second time we went, it was just the 6 of us. Our waitress was Trinity, and she was the just the sweetest and nicest waitress! She was attentive and always made sure we were taken care of. Trinity was definitely one of the best waitresses I've had. I had the Don's pizza again, and it was delicious! We also met that manager that night, and he was really nice as well. Oh, and we didn't have to wait long for our food and drinks! The third night we went, Priscilla was our waitress. She was nice as well. This time I got the spaghetti and meatballs, and wow! It was so good! Definitely the best spaghetti and meatballs I've had! That night we had to wait a little longer for our food (not sure why as it wasn't busy), but it wasn't too long of a wait, and we all loved Albi's. The manager even remembered us and stopped by our table to ask how we were. We'd definitely all recommend Albi's! We'll be back when we're in the San Antonio area for sure!

My friends and I were wanting to try something new and came across this restaurant; upon arrival, we were quickly greeted and seated. Our waiter, Dominic "Dom", was very helpful in explaining the menu, specials, and recommendations. We tried the Grapefruit Refresher and Spiked Iced Tea for drinks; though I typically don't like grapefruit, this drink was very good, along with the tea. We tried the chicken parmigiana and pasta sampler, both were very good. I added a caesar salad to the meal and it was very good, had a bit of a sweet taste to it. Overall, the experience was enjoyable and will plan to go again.

this is a clean small restaurant with excellent food and great service. I have been there about 5 times, each time I have not been disappointed. The service is spot on, the staff is attentive BUT not over board. The food is delicious and served hot. A nice variety of Italian food choices. the lasagna is delicious. They have a triple combo plate that gives you nice sampling of their dishes. We always have food left over to take home.

Wonderful service and great food that’s very well priced considering how delicious everything we ordered was! The sausage and spicy arriabata sauce was definitely spicy, but absolutely fantastic! I would highly recommend eating here if you love Italian cuisine.
