After being seated easily. Was looking forward to eating had checked out the reviews before going. What a disappointment! We waited an age to be served. Even had to ask twice (getting up from seat) to ask two different servers if someone could take our order. Food was burnt, potatoes not cooked, not an enjoyable meal at all.

Delicious pancakes the best of my life Hearty and filling American breakfast A real dinner to enter at any time and to enjoy

Good choice for breakfast but found some of the staff - including cashier - a bit surly. However our waitress was really nice. Food was good and coffee top ups constant without having to ask.

Nice Dinner where we went twice for breakfast. Neat Penn Station, Macy’s and Empire State building. It is value for money.

I visited NYC for five days... Loved the food so much here the first day we came back twice more. My husband had pancakes with sausage and bacon the first day, chocolate chip pancakes the second visit, and plain pancakes with maple syrup the last visit, and I had a steak/mushroom/onion omelette with fried potatoes every time because it was so good and such a big portion! Every time my husband got pancakes they'd give him loads of maple syrup pots so he always had enough. The servers were so friendly and when I said I had a dairy allergy/can't eat lactose they were really kind and helpful, and we didn't feel rushed out once we were finished. I got a slice of NY cheesecake to take away and it was the best cheesecake I had in NYC. We didn't have to wait for a table on any of the days, we went at 0830 on Saturday, about 0915 on Monday, and at 1030 on Wednesday.

We went for breakfast and both ordered croissants which were good and the waitress that served us was friendly. Unfortunately after being served our drinks we noticed that both of our cups had cracks in them. We bought this to the attention of another member of the waiting staff who was not very apologetic. The table and seating area where we were placed also could have been cleaner. The food was good but we won’t be visiting this place again.

Following two visits we were going to leave a great review but on the third visit after handing a waiter our bill, they came back to say the money was short by 20 dollars. The money was checked three times before it was passed over and on previous occasions we had given full tip. It was only 20 dollars but it’s the principal of the matter being conned and this is how they treat tourists who bring in the money. Be aware !

Went several times for this great and authentic diner experience. It is very well located near many hotels. The food was great, and the service was very good. We came early at around 8am to avoid the queues as this is quite a popular place.

Stopped here randomly after a long day of sight seeing left us HUNGRY. Not too busy in between lunch and dinner. We had a group of 7 including 3 kids. The menu was very extensive-I had the chipotle burger with fries and it was delicious! Others in the group had the chilli cheese fries, chicken Cesar wrap and chicken parm panini and everyone was full and satisfied - prices were very reasonable- waiter was friendly and attentive - only wish we had room for dessert because the cheesecake in the case up front looked amazing! I would highly recommend Andrew’s NYC diner

Very delicious breakfast and super friendly staff. We had a breakfast sampler - typical American food : eggs, sausage, bacon , pancakes and French toast - it’s huge ! It will keep you full and give you energy for the whole day of sightseeing

Dude this is just the coolest and best diner. Awesome food. Awesome service. And kind to my family. Top top top. Will go back.

Andrews is a wonderful classic New York Diner. Here you will find riendly service and plentiful terrific food.

Classic Nee York diner. Service was quick, and the food was good. I got the corned beef hash, which was great. My wife got the Nutella French toast, which was also great.

The perfect place for a typical American breakfast We came there every morning during our stay The dishes are substantial and the coffee is served as desired The waiters are smiling and professional

Great address for breakfast! Don’t be put off by the queue, it’s fast and worth the wait.

The nearest you will find to an authentic American diner in NYC. Great homemade meals, excellent service and reasonably priced.

This place was terrible. Refused to sit us until our full party was here and had ignorant wait staff and sub-par food. Go elsewhere when looking for breakfast in NYC. There are much better options pretty much anywhere else you look.

This is the perfect place to have brunch and very friendly staff we eat super well very reasonable prices a big thank you to José very nice very smiling with little care I recommend this place highly😍😍

We’ve been here many times, usually get breakfast, which is served anytime. Experienced wait staff are quick and helpful. Portions are large so take into consideration when you order. There seem to be fewer of these types of restaurants in Manhattan, so keep supporting these places… the independent diners.

Great place for breakfast. Good atmosphere in the middle of NYC. The staff are great and bubbly and the prices are reasonable. More importantly, the food was great. Recommended for a breakfast stop off in NYC.

We was in New York a couple of years ago and had breakfast here at least 3/4 times it was good then and we went there again today for breakfast and it was lovely. Staff was perfect. Can’t fault it one bit.

After reading the reviews, I thought I would come for breakfast. Did not disappoint. Had the breakfast skillet, which was on the specials and it was fabulous. Loads of bacon and sausage as well as topped with scrambled eggs. Very friendly staff.

Great food and service. There was a wait when we arrived but it went quickly. They know how to get you fed and out of there, but in a good way, not rushed at all. Our kids especially loved the Nutella pancakes!! Will definitely return.

Andrews Coffee Shop is a cozy gem in the heart of the city, perfect for a classic breakfast. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is friendly. I loved the hearty portions and the quality of the food. It's a great spot to start your day with delicious comfort food and a cup of freshly brewed coffee.

Classic diner both in appearance and in the menu where you can find everything you expect from such a place. Very courteous and efficient staff, highly rated, you can also sit on tables in the street, we have been there twice. Considering the portions and costs I recommend you order a dish to share, we always opted for the sweet pancakes with eggs and bacon which we then strategically shared. The waterfall of maple syrup is a must.

This is one of our favorite places We have breakfast there almost every day To appreciate the moment you have to come early Andrews Coffee opens 6am. From 8:30 it becomes industrial so crowded there are several formulas on offer, they are all very good. coffee is served at will and the portions are generous

Genuine old school New York Diner. Really busy with great staff keeping everything moving - food arrives speedily, despite so many punters. Blueberry pancakes + bacon just sensational!

Good products, no surprises on the bill and the staff is very pleasant Honestly very good experience of an American brunch especially at this place, in Times Square Obviously you can find better, obviously you can find cheaper but this place is a safe haven, with complete confidence

We came here as in the area for breakfast. There was a queue when we arrived but we were quickly shown to our table. Service was good and quick. Food arrived and big portions. The pancakes were amazing, would recommend

I stumbled upon Andrews Coffee Shop last month and was blown away! The ambiance is perfect – think comfy seating, great music, and a warm, homey feel. My latte was exceptional, with beautiful art, and the pastry was delicious

We stopped here after a busy day in the city. Great service! Although my spinach salad was missing two of the ingredients (red onion and walnuts - I’m assuming that it way late in the day and they ran out) it was good. My husband ordered a panini and said it was good.

Our favourite thing about this place was the waitress. I wish we had her name but she made me laugh so much, sharing her story about making the men pay the bill. (All lighthearted and jokey) She was so funny. The food was average. My banana and peanut butter pancake had no taste of peanut butter. It comes with tiny little peanut butter chips that don’t carry a taste of peanut butter. I could also see the egg white in the pancake which shows it wasn’t mixed properly. As you can see in the photo I’ve stared. You can see the egg white on end of pancake. Wouldn’t return here but the staff are great! Service was good.

A well established cafe/diner offering good value fresh food. We came for breakfast and were not disappointed and were well looked after by Cecialia. I enjoyed the Breakfast Skillet of Bacon,Sausage, Fried Potatoes with melted cheese, Two fried eggs and wheat toast.($14.95) Jill loved her two egg omelette with peppers, mushrooms and onions with Rye toast. The coffee was really good too. The diner was very clean and well worth a visit.

Typical American diner where you can have breakfast/brunch/lunch/dinner. Very well known and crowded, you often have to wait in line before a table becomes free. Various combos available on the menu (eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, French toast, etc.), generous in portions. Low price and good quality. Service a little rushed and chaotic but overall a great place to have breakfast

Food was amazing. Quick delivery and just a lovely place. Staff very friendly and helpful. We would recommend going here for a brilliant breakfast.

Lovely food, I had the apple pancakes and my husband the breakfast skillet, both of which were delicious and huge portions. Service was also excellent. I would have expected given it 5☆ but the coffee was not to my liking. I had ordered a cappuccino, and it came with powdered cinnamon all over it. I don't mind a bit of cinnamon and expected it on my pancakes, but I didn't request it in my coffee, and I couldn't drink it, so it went to waste.

Fantastic breakfast in perfect American style: pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs and sausages, all accompanied by orange juice or coffee. Generous portions and delicious!

We have eaten breakfast everyday of our stay in Andrew’s Diner and have not been disappointed once. All the staff are friendly, amazing and cannot do enough for you. The food is 10/10. I had pancakes, bacon and syrup the first day. Second day I had poached egg on toast with fried potatoes and third day I had waffles with sausages and syrup. The portion sizes are big and fill you up. If we ever come back to NYC we will make sure we come back! Also - if you like iced coffees, theirs are the best I’ve ever tasted.

Famous above all for its breakfasts, this old-time dinero with open kitchen is also fabulous for dinner. We tried it twice by booking with open table. Lots of specialties, Mexican, American, Italian, among other things I saw that they use de Cecco as pasta. Fresh ingredients, phenomenal tacos and burritos. The pizza didn't look bad either... Fair prices and place always full. Greetings to the sweet and talented Maia.

My daughter and I visited the diner on 7th av. The pizza was excellent but the cheesecake was even better, but the real cherry was the service by Manuela. Ask for her and have a great meal in NYC.

A very good small traditional American restaurant, but also offers Mexican food. We ate well locally with our children (burger and pancakes). Correct, fast service and pleasant waiters!

We came back by chance seeing on the window "burgers" What a beautiful discovery. A great burger with fries and vegetables, we had trouble finishing. We add two cokes and a coffee for a Rating of 49.95 USD. Nothing to say! The superb setting, a real American dinner, compe we imagine brief....I loved

Not a simple cafeteria but a diner where you can have every kind of breakfast possible. So in line with the average location (not cheap) but all very good and plentiful. Recommended

Super friendly and professional service We visited every morning whilst we were in New York, our hotel concierge recommended the diner and it did not disappoint …. We highly recommend this place and if we ever find ourselves in New York again we will definitely be heading there for breakfast. Just a great authentic New York experience. A big thank you to all the staff that work there, you are smashing it! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Ps- the coffee is banging 👌🏼

Located at 35th & 7th, the restaurant has excellent food and service. Walk-in, order, quick food delivery, and out in no time. Really good and inexpensive alternative to hotel breakfasts.

Excellent diner option, dear pen station in across the street from Macy's. Typical diner fair that a little bit more than you would anticipate. Serves alcohol, pizza and dice cell options. Dinner selection was wider than anticipated. And breakfast all day.

Correct price for the place. Great location. Impeccable and fast Service. The price of water (can) is exorbitant! The food is good. 88th to 4 with tips --> fries/nuggets + 3 pizzas + 4 drinks (2 waters and 2 canned sodas). The place is nice and there is a small terrace in front.

If you see the line, don’t walk away. This place is a smooth runny company. They will move you in fast. Staff is friendly, for NYC. We ate here 4 times in 3 days. Quick and yummy!

Really nice place in American style as in the movies. You spend enough, because in four we spent 90€ for breakfast, but it is suitable by counting the amount of food served.

Variety of menu, excellent service, great flavor of food and affordable prices. We have had breakfast here many times and it is always a pleasure to return.

We visited Andrews as the reviews seemed very good and it was only short walk from our hotel on W 35th, we found it welcoming, comfortable and reasonably priced, the food was really excellent on the breakfast menu, so good in fact that we ended up eating breakfast there every day for a week. Opens at around 7am so you can get a decent meal before your daily round of sightseeing or shopping. Can't recommend highly enough.

Fabulous breakfast every day. Lots to choose from, swift service, great prices, lovely food, no complaints whatsoever. The staff were lovely and friendly and helpful. Will definitely eat here again when I am back in NYC.

Great staff, sadly I had a hot tea, I was offered more hot water so I asked for another tea bag as they are not very strong. When the bill arrived I had been charged $7.90 as they classed that as 2 cups as I had asked for an additional tea bag, when I asked the manager he said that that was correct. I tried to explain my husband’s coffee had been refilled but not charged twice, didn’t want to entertain and made me pay $7.90 for the tea , I didn’t even get a new cup. Avoid the manager he ruined what would have been a good visit and always ask if it’s going to be an additional charge.

Although in a crowded tourist area,we were about to get a table without a wait. Food was basic diner-fare, but the service was outstanding!

On Sunday 22nd October 2023 my immediate family and I went to Andrews Coffee shop for dinner. Our server for our meal was Manuela, who was an excellent server. She displayed an outstanding knowledge of the menu food and drink options available to customers.without needing to refer to the menu. In addition she was able to commit our food and drink order to memory without having to write it down or key the order into a hand held device. The order was spot on when it came to our table promptly after being ordered. I would thoroughly recommend the Andrews Coffee shop to my friends, family and everyone else, as a venue to have something to eat and drink when in New York. In addition I would also thoroughly recommend Manuela's service to my friends, family and everyone else which was brilliant!!!! I ca n not wait to visit New York again and to have the opportunity to dine at Andrews Coffee shop and to be served by Manuala, which I hope will be soon..

First visited back in March 2020 and still great in 2024. Stopped here for lunch on a hot July afternoon, and received glass, after glass, of ice cold water. Felt like a sanctuary rather than a diner:) great service, and great food in central New York, in a traditional style diner. Everything you expect to find in NYC, and more.

Expect a queue if you are going for breakfast especially as we were there over the holiday period. Having said that the q was very well organised and they got everyone seated as quickly and efficiently as possible. We went twice so it must be good if it's worth queuing a second time! We only had breakfast there but everything was delicious and good value too. If you want the American diner experience in Manhattan at a reasonable price with friendly service then face the queue. Or if you are more sensible than us come at a time other than breakfast and you probably won't even have to wait.

Classic American diner! Well priced for massive portions. It’s an authentic experience that we really enjoyed. Kids should try the Nutella French toast.

Service was good. The food too. I loved the steak and potatoes, the smoothie and the ham omelette. It was my first american breakfast.

Mediocre meal. Had a panini and wrap. Came because of the TA eating but not impressed. We were hungry and now we are not so I guess that is a success?

I had the pleasure of visiting Andrew’s Coffee Shop in NYC, and it’s safe to say it’s a hidden gem in the city! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a cozy vibe. You can tell they take pride in their establishment. Our breakfast was delicious and served with care buy a really sweet professional waitress who has been in the business for 30 years. What really sets Andrew’s apart, though, is the service. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, happy to make recommendations or tweak your order to perfection. Andrew’s Coffee Shop is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back soon!

My favorit breakfast place in NYC! Very friendly service and you get you food in 5 minuts. The french toast with nutella & their omelets are second to none.

Good range of omelettes (and other things) for breakfast, good coffee, attentive service. Much better than other places. Sometimes there is a short queue but it turned over quickly.

We decided on an early morning authentic American breakfast, decided on this purely on the name, it was so good we went twice!

Pancakes are very good and the rest of the food is good but not exceptional. Service was a bit cold but efficient. Food gets delivered fairly quickly as well.

We came here on a review from our friend who said it was the best pancakes she had ever had. Well she wasn’t wrong. We came here on the first morning of our trip, I had blueberry pancakes and my partner had Nutella French toast. Both were amazing. The pancakes were so light and fluffy. The service was incredibly fast and they were all lovely. We had pancakes/French toast at two other restaurants during our stay and neither came clothes to Andrew’s. So much so we came back for our final breakfast, as it was the best breakfast we had all trip. 100% recommend as an absolute must visit

I have been visiting New York a number of times per year for the past 15 years and each time I always have my breakfast and dinner in Andrew’s. Staff are very welcoming and food is great. Many locals eat here and this for me is always a sign of a good restaurant or coffee shop. Queue’s can be long early morning but they go really quickly. Love their freshly brewed coffee and orange juice. Hands down best pancakes in the city in my opinion. Highly recommend Andrew’s to anyone. Can’t wait to visit again when I’m Next in town.

Great service, lovely people and an amazing breakfast. Well worth a visit if you are in NYC. Omelets and coffee was what we ordered - simple and yet so worth it. Definitely recommend!

We have eaten here many times over the years as it is between theater district and MSG walking down 7th avenue. Good price and food usually although this time seemed smaller portions and more basic Sysco fair. Still a good value for the money and service is friendly although seemed short staffed for a Saturday dinner time

Came here a couple of times during our trip. The waitresses were so lovely and hardworking. Decent food and not a bad price considering location.

Found this diner while looking for breakfast. Had to queue as it was so busy but staff were really good at managing tables and we were seated quick. Our server was friendly and very efficient; the menu is pretty big and the food we had was great. Great atmosphere and the diner understandably is always busy. Would definitely recommend and I’ll visit again when in town

I wandered in at 6 AM opening to find a clean place with friendly help and good food. I tried several other places, but none came up to this quality level. Give it a try.

Fantastic experience, the best classic American breakfast in New York!!! Professional, very kind and friendly staff!! 💯🔝

Reading the comments on Trip Advisor I expected a good address. Great mistake! An old-fashioned room why not but very shabby which is not very pleasant. The service is fast and courteous but the bill is very, very steep! 130 USD for a breakfast for 4…1 course each and a squeezed fruit juice (and acidic in fact). Scandalous! The plate is full for sure, but nothing extraordinary, just very big cavalry at prohibitive prices! They quickly see the tourist arriving. Go your way

Lovely tasty breakfast. Excellent choice of menu, good value for money, friendly staff, clean, nice atmosphere, quick service.

Nothing fancy, just good grub, fresh , timely served and great value. Always try to visit for breakfast. You won’t be disappointed.

We stumbled across the diner walking back to our hotel after a very long day travelling and it was amazing warm friendly service waitress was lovely and very attentive I had the biggest salad in the world!! Would definitely return

The place is a little disorganized. The queue gets squeezed and the attendant is in a bad mood. The coffee is well served, pretty typical American. It was worth the visit, but I ⁇ 't come back. There are better options in the region.

A huge menu choice, good quality food, good service and reasonably priced. Right next to Macy,s. Would highly recommend for breakfast.

Went here twice on our trip. Great service, good value and a good choice of breakfast foods. Pancakes, nutella toast and the yoghurt parfait were all big hits for us.

Good solid diner. Food was typical. Nothing really stood out. No homemade breads with r hash or anything. Decent coffee and super quick service

Just Ughgh. Place was dirty. Floor was actually filthy, greasy. One bathroom, one toilet shared by men and women. Kind of weird. Small sandwiches. Tough chicken. Nothing nothing special here. When the waiter tells u the must popular sandwich is a BLT sandwich, u know ur in the wrong place. Priced ok. Disappointed

This place won our hearts, we were so satisfied that we visited it 4 times on our trip. The cafeteria has a pleasant atmosphere, the service was very fast even when the place was full, the food arrived hot, with good portions and very tasty. We tried the omelet, apple-cinnamon pancakes, peanut butter-banana pancakes, blueberry muffin, cheesecake and cherry pie, all amazing. 10/10

We’ve been here for breakfast - there are different omelettes and pancakes variants, some waffles positions and oatmeal. All omelets are served with your choice of bread and potatoes. Portions are big, taste like at home - rather good, but not striking. For drinks you can find different coffee, teas and smoothies. Surprisingly coffee isn’t the best one, it could be better. They also serve couple of cocktails like Mimosa, Bellini and Bloody Mary. Staff is attentive and friendly. Wi-fi is available.

6 people arrived hungry. We were seated immediately by server who arranged drinks whilst we looked at menu. Order taken all food cooked fresh. Delicious!! And so reasonably priced.

Typical American place, like the ones you see in the movies. Spectacular breakfast, ideal for brunch.

Average breakfast, not sure what all the fuss is about. The diner was rather busy with a short wait to be seated. Menu offers wide range of options. Atmosphere is bustling, a traditional American Diner experience. Opted for the breakfast sampler of pancakes , French toast, eggs, bacon, sausage. Around $21 dollars. Sausage not very tasty, bacon not great. Overall not value for money. Moreover service wasn’t good, the waitress was impatient, perhaps she was having a bad day. Wouldn’t recommend this place and couldn’t quite fathom why so busy. If you are hungry, try the liberty bagel shop opposite, slightly cheaper and much better.

Service was excellent , fast and friendly. Margherita Pizza was delicious and not greasy as others can be. Sauce on the pizza was tasty.

Andrews Coffee Shop is a charming, cozy spot offering excellent coffee and delicious homemade pastries. With friendly service and a warm atmosphere, it's the perfect place to relax or catch up with friends. The freshly baked scones and cakes are a highlight, making it a must-visit for coffee lovers.

Excellent diner with good quality food and service. Our children enjoyed the menu and the staff were attentive and friendly.

Best breakfast in NYC. A breakfast that does one all day until supper time! Sometimes there’s a lineup but it moves quickly. Service is friendly. Potions are large. Pancakes are delicious! So is everything. We come here every time we visit NYC.

Andrew's became our "local" for breakfast. Staff friendly, food is fast. We enjoyed banana pancakes, french toast for breakfast and burgers and pasta dishes in the evening. Great to watch the world go by if you get a window seat. Can't wait to come again.

Great restaurant very busy but didnt have to wait long , great choice of breakfast and quick service would recommend!

I’ve been here many times on visits over the years and it’s never disappointed. Love the food and friendly staff here Get here at least once if you’re in NYC

We were staying close by and came for breakfast. There was no wait despite being fairly busy. Service was quick and efficient. The omelet was a little disappointing. Very small, but maybe I'm spoiled by my local diner. Home fries were ok, nothing special. Bagel and fruit were as expected.

Excellent breakfast experience - food was great and atmosphere was great too, as the place was always full for breakfast. Front of house and cashier staff could be a bit more friendly, however that did not stop us going there 3 mornings in a row during our recent trip to NYC. Location is great too, right beside Macy’s and not far from Times Square. Perfect spot for anyone who values a big and tasty breakfast.

Awful service, waited patiently for a table which is not a problem when the restaurant is busy. However when getting to the front of the queue we were bypassed by groups of more to be seated before us even though the table that came free had only 2 diners. This happened twice. Would suggest finding alternative places to eat as the customer service has a lot to be desired.

Was a treat to have a local New Yorker recommend this place. Generous breakfast portions. Very friendly, efficient waitress amidst a sold out crowd. We want to try different places but we will return to this one.

Visited for pancakes during a recent visit. Huge portions and the staff were happy to accommodate a small adjustment to the dish for me.

Great place for breakfast. Visited 4 times in 6 days due to the quality of the food and service. Busy place as it’s fantastic

Diner Fare and quick turnover. Really liked my cheddar burger which was thick and cooked medium rare as I asked. Juicy and flavorful. Always seem to stop here on a trips for breakfast or lunch as half way between Penn and theater district

Amazing Nutella French Toast and Waffles 😍 We always visit when in NYC. Great food and service. Love the Nutella French toast. I’ll be dreaming of it until my next visit to the states! My mum also enjoyed the waffles with fruit and bacon. Lovely fresh orange juice too. Our waitress (forgot her name but polish lady) was lovely and super helpful. Definitely recommend Andrew’s for breakfast.

Great food, great service, great value. Definitely try this place. Clean bathrooms, attentive staff. Great alternative to expensive hotel provisions.

As I walked in was led to a bar stool instead of table. After being seated at a table after I complained, I read the menu. I noticed that none of the combos had a vegetarian option, so I asked if I could substitute a fruit cup or toast for the sausage and bacon. They refused. The manager was surly and rude. I was saving him money by not getting the meat but he wanted to over charge me by getting each item separately. I left. Went to Tic Toc instead. Much more reasonable.

This is breakfast pancake heaven, with generous servings, good choices, and continual coffee. For me this was a little too much but the kids loved it so by default it became a favourite for breakfast! This is a historic instituation, the service is very fast and polite with big servings. The cost is mid-range for breakfast but it was a good experience for those not familiar with the US diner breakfast.

The food is beautiful very tasty the service is very good the staff are kind and caring the price of the food is reasonable

I came to Andrew cofee shop driven by good reviews and it turned out to be a great place to have breakfast l. The staff is fast and kind do not worry if there is a queue you will not have to wait long to enjoy one of their excellent pancakes.

The pizzas were perfect, and the cashier (maybe the owner?) was very friendly. We ordered a margherita and a white pie. I prefer a little less sauce, but the flavor was great.

As soon as we walked in we were greeted and a host brought us quickly to a table. Shortly after sitting we were asked if we would like something to drink and given menus. Friendly and prompt service was given and the food was cooked perfectly. We shared meat lovers omelette and an extra English muffin. It’s hard to imagine under or over toasting an English muffin but many places do! Not Andrew’s though it was perfectly toasted! Thank you Yosly for your friendly and quick attention!

Me and my son were looking for a diner for brunch and found this place. Nice staff but we had to wait about 10 minutes for space and then we had to sit at the bar or wait longer. Then ordered blueberry pancakes and cheese steak omelette. Ok but no more unfortunately. The grapefruit juice was really sweet. Coffee good.

Great atmosphere, tasty food, huge portions!!Decided to go here on our first morning of the trip. Our server was really friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.

The only reason for not giving five stars as we all smelled of fried food when we left ..…… but overall great experience ……

Everyone visiting NY should dine here for breakfast! The food is delicious, great customer service, attentive staff and competitive prices. Definitely recommend and will return.

Great diner, NY Cheesecake was awesome, staff so lovely and welcoming. Milkshakes some of the best in Midtown. Would def recommend

Had been here twice on our holiday to NYC and both times the food and service was brilliant. Only draw back to this place is it’s really small for the popularity of the venue now. Everytime we have been in or walked past it’s rammed! Testimony to the quality of food I guess. Popular with locals and visitors alike. Food was prompt, very tasty and hot which is all you can ask for. I had the French toast with Nutella and it was very rich but delicious! My wife had meat omelette which looked great too. I had the toast on both visits it was that good. Get a fresh muffin too, they are great. Not dry like some you can get. The banana nut one was my favourite. Worth a visit, next time we will go for evening meal. Well worth it!

My dad and I visited this lovely Diner during our week stay in New York. We had breakfast here 6 mornings out of 7 and had dinner there twice. The service was excellent. Even when you arrive and there is a big queue for a table, you get to a table pretty quickly as they are always cleaning up and re-laying a table the second someone leaves. The staff are always on the go! The food itself is lovely and I had the Belgian waffles with strawberries and a Tropicana every morning, plus a burger for dinner one night and a grilled chicken sandwich and fries on the other. If you are near Andrews Diner I definitely recommend it for a good meal, at any time of the day!

You need to update your menu on TripAdvisor! Which does not correspond at all to reality! It's a lot more expensive. That's a shame.

Locale tipico americano, da provare! A real American breakfast with American portions! Pancakes with very good cooked apples and cinnamon, a portion can safely be divided into 3 people. Prices in line

During our stay, we went there twice, for breakfast, and really enjoyed it. The service the first time was not the best but the second time, great! On the other hand: generous and good food! The place is not modern but really typical of the US! Allow time because there is sometimes a bit of a wait before a table becomes available.

A great old fashioned cheeseburger .If you are tired of the fast food burgers head here and give them a try.Service was outstanding also.

Delicious and staff were friendly - this is the place for that authentic American diner experience. We had the french toast, pancakes, omlettes. So good that we came here twice - would highly recommend. I'd advise getting here at 08:00 - 08:00 to skip the queue.

Had 2 fantastic breakfasts at Andrews on our recent 5 day visit to NYC to celebrate our granddaughter’s 21st birthday. Seated very quickly at busy times with no fuss. Server was excellent. It’s a must if you are in NYC

Italian Omelette... it was not Omelette. Burnt egg, tasteless and the only redeeming feature of the visit is the great service.

A very nice and clean breakfast spot. Food is great. Location is great staff is very very kind and friendly. We ate breakfast 3 days on a row. Food choises are great. Service is quick. Highly recommended!

We visited Andrews NYC Diner twice in March 2024. We went for breakfast; the menu had so much choice and the food was tasty. There was a short queue to be seated both times but it didn't take very long and it was definitely worth the wait. The staff were friendly and efficient and our food was brought promptly. The banana pancakes were my fave! Will definitely go back on my next visit to NYC!

We went for brunch on our last morning in NY. Spectacular value for money. They have a wide selection of ready-made menu-style brunches and you can also order a la carte whatever you want if you don't want that much or don't like any of the combinations. The Honduran waitress who served us was wonderful as a professional and as a person. They speak Spanish. They respond immediately and from the moment you order until they bring it, not even ten minutes pass. Spectacular pancakes and incredible Nutella French toast. We paid for six brunches, four of their selection and another two chosen by us from the menu, $100 and tip included.

We went for breakfast and wow what a breakfast! The pancakes were delicious and so were the waffles! Huge portions and great service.

Nice waiter and hearty plate for breakfast in this Manhattan diner. Lots of people and it sometimes takes a while to be placed. About 25 euros out of service per person.

Very busy place, but in a very good location, very tasty food and the waitress was very pleasant and polite. The prices were what you would expect for New York.

We ate here for dinner because we walked by it and it had lots of seating. Food was delicious, place was very clean, service was fast and friendly.

Delicious food with good prices and friendly staff. We got a chipotle burger and chicken Florentine panini. Highly recommended

Ordered a hamburger. It arrived very oily and tasted stale. It came with no tomato or lettuce. I also ordered a hot tea. The water was not very war warm. McDonalds has better food.

This is a great place for brunch. Amazing selection of food which was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. The latte I had was the best I’d had so far in NYC. All the staff looked happy in their work and the lady who served us was lovely and great fun - I wished I’d taken a note of her name.

this is soo much good resturant ever i go their service is too much good i just love their food taste is yammy i hope i will go their again

This place makes and serves the most delicious home made brekfast. It has a great atmosphere as well being a traditional and very authentic diner. Their baked goods such as muffins and cheesecake are very good as well.

A really good NY Diner just round the corner from our hotel. French Toast, Pancakes and more all excellent. Yes it’s pretty basic seating and stuff but that’s part of the charm :-) Good portions

The sweets and food are wonderful and tasty Very good service Polite personnel We visited it 3 times on our holiday Old style restaurant

We went here for breakfast. There was a line to be seated. We saw that as a good thing :) And it was! Eggs, bacon and links were delicious and the staff very friendly. Prices are good and the muffins are a bargain! $3,75 for a gigantic home baked muffin! You won’t find that anywhere on manhattan. I would recommend Andrew’s NYC Diner!

The fact that there was a queue outside and in this diner spoke volumes. The service was quick, if a little brusque to start with, but the waitress warmed up. The food was good and bountiful. I'm sure I'm not the first Brit to say that I couldn't finish my portion. I had the 'meat lovers omelette' and can thoroughly recommend!

Breakfast and lunch the same week. We go there regularly during our stays in New York. Very good quality food, friendly and efficient service. A very good address for sure and a sure value

Knew we were tourists and charged us an extra $23 !!!!!!!! And also had to tip them ontop of it. Absolutely disgusted

The breakfast was excellent, so much choice. I had pancakes, which were delicious, and my husband had the omelette, which was also very good. We had to queue for a table (but it was a Saturday morning around 9am) but didn’t have to wait too long. The waitresses were very efficient and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Tried this place for breakfast last week - service was very efficient and friendly, the food was good and the menu pretty extensive. Not too pricey either.

We used the diner everyday in December 2015 at Christmas and I told all my family how good this diner was for breakfast BUT now September 2023 I couldn’t believe now it’s changed for the worst I explain to the waiter wait I would for breakfast and he came back with something totally different and instead for him apologising he took no notice and gave us the check and yes you must buy for it $44.37 for two small breakfast and two coffees I’m sorry to say this but find somewhere else ((( Disgusting )))

Ate here on several occasions whilst in New york. The pancakes are amazing and been craving them since I got home, soooo fluffy. Staff were really friendly and helpful, real authentic new york diner. Loved it

Found this we place round from the hotel. It was really busy. Staff were friendly food came out quick. Prices were good as well. We just went in for breakfast. Had eggs and potatoes and toast. On the way out it was queued out the door

Brilliant place to eat for breakfast. We were only in New York a short while but we went three times. The service was fantastic.

Typical dinner where the tourist can have a true American meal experience. During our holiday in New York we chose it for all our evening meals and we recommend it to everyone for the good food, honest prices and the American atmosphere that many of us foreigners like.

We went there for dinner and returned the next day for breakfast. The pasta served was very good and the portions were very very generous. The breakfast (pancakes and French toast) was also very good. This dinner offers good value for money and the service is impeccable.

This diner was recommended by our hotel and did not disappoint. We considered it a true NY experience with fast , good service and helpful serving staff.

This was a great place for breakfast, there were three of us who were treated really well by the staff and had an enjoyable breakfast. The food was excellent and kept getting topped up with coffee. Definitely recommend eating here and you could tell by how busy they were that it is a popular location.

Have been here numerous times for breakfast which I have always found great. Decided to try a lunch here. The service was sub par, nobody came to check how my food was, which was lukewarm and distinctly average and badly presented. Plastic pots for sauces, no garnish. It was expensive for what it was, I would have got better value and service at chipotle. I’m really disappointed. I expected better. Maybe it was a bad choice on my part but I won’t return in a hurry.

This is a great diner for breakfast! Fast friendly service with good food. The portions are healthy and the atmosphere is casual. We eat here whenever we are in NYC. I recommend.

Good food. Fantastic service. Well priced. Full and happy. Our waitress was LOVELY. 🥰. Pancake stacks were great as was omlette

Great food with excellent service! Love this place! The chicken salad was yummy yesterday then the waffle with fruit was exceptional. Can’t wait to go back

Really enjoyed the breakfast at this diner which ticks all the boxes of what one expects of a traditional American diner. After 0900am you can expect a long wait.

To discover the Dinner of our neighborhood, nothing exceptional but welcoming and friendly people. Nothing exceptional on the plates, it seems a bit expensive even at the end, but I feel it’s a bit the same everywhere in New York. Anyway we had a quiet meal with Americans, around us and a local Mood, the TV continues around us. We do not regret it.

A pan-Gaulic breakfast! A mountain of pancakes, coffee at the coffee maker... like in the movies! There are people but the welcome is kind.

The food was delicious, the waiter very polite and we did not wait too long for our meal. Delicious omelet and super tasty burgers.

We went to breakfast. The place is well and excellently located. Even though there were people, we've been seated fast. The service, quite sack, I suppose already a bit boring by tourists. The food is fine, but for the price, it could be more plentiful. They brought us the bill, because there was a lot of tail. I don't think he came back.

What a breakfast! Huge plates of pancakes, sweet and savory, but there really was everything, in a truly American atmosphere! Obviously high prices, but this is New York

This was our favourite breakfast place whilst in NYC. Great food & good selection. Busy in here which is always a good sign. Friendly waitress staff. Would recommend for an authentic American breakfast/ brunch. They come round and refill coffee.

We went once for dinner and again for breakfast during our visit to NYC. We enjoyed the bustling atmosphere and great food. Really good value for money.

Now renamed Andrews NYC Diner to better represent its offering. Excellent food offering with good variety and tasty dishes. Efficient and polite staff. Highly recommended.
Andrews Coffee Shop – perfect start to the day
We were in NYC for 6 days and actually had breakfast every morning at Andrews Coffee Shop – although we actually set out to try different places. The reason: Everything just fits here. There are plenty of seats, the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, and the coffee cup was really never empty. It was particularly pleasant for us that we did not have to sit next to each other on bar stools at the counter, but could start comfortably at the table. We tried our hand at food: I tested different omelettes, my wife also took pancakes or something sweet – everything was fresh, delicious and absolutely recommended. A perfect start to the day, every time again.
