Nice happy hour spot close to the theatre district. Enjoyed a post-theatre drink and some “nosh” with our friends before getting in the train home. Drinks were strong and a good price! Would have liked some more vegetarian choices but what we ordered was tasty.

We reserved a table here for dinner before a Broadway show. What a win! The service was outstanding, from the friendly bartender who greeted us (and gave us Prosecco when he realized it was our anniversary) to our server, Ahmad, who was absolutely amazing. He was friendly, attentive, professional, and accommodating to all our needs. The atmosphere was so nice and we valued the smaller, quieter ambiance after spending the weekend in the chaotic Broadway/Times Square area. And the food!! The fresh bread and dipping oil was a nice start, and we enjoyed the generous Mozzarella di Bufala immensely, better than any Caprese we've had in a restaurant. We both ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese and both loved it. We finished our meal with the Zafferano, recommended by Ahmad, and it was the perfect ending. We highly recommend Aperi Bar to anyone looking for a quiet dinner of delicious Italian cuisine with top-notch service!

What a fantastic dining experience we had! The staff was very professional & accommodating! Food was amazing! Some of my favorites were the calabro ricotta, artichoke romano, the bronzino & the rigatoni bolognese! So delicious! Save room for the deserts. The olive oil torta& zafferano & expresso gelato outstanding. Chef Palmer & his team have another winner! Thanks to all especially GM Sydney for an unforgettable evening!

Ok experience with ok food. The disappointed service started when nobody came to our table after we sat down for close to 10 minutes. At that time we were only one of four tables in the restaurant. We then asked our server for her recommendations and she couldn't describe them ("it's a lemon sauce..yea" was an example). She also said no when asked doesn't the vongole have clam? She came back after clearly inquiring with somebody to advise I was indeed correct. Thank goodness as we had two people with shellfish allergies!! The apps were creative and delicious (shishito and meatballs). The Bolognese was ok, but the branzino was odd. Fish should be displayed skin side up when the skin is very crispy and presentable. In this case, the fish was skin up yet smothered with sauce and other items. It was the weirdest presentation. Should have just gone with fish meat side up. Tried a couple desserts - the olive oil cake was drier than dry. There was no olive oil taste. In fact it wasn't even regular cake moist enough. Throughout the dinner our server didn't come by often enough and we had to track her down every time - more water, the dessert menu, the check. Neither food nor service was good enough.

We met together as a family of 7 after a packed/long day of NYC Christmas 🎄. Aperbari was perfect for our kid and adult group (great service by Ben!!) Food and drinks were wonderful! Just perfect 👍

On an evening with a strong storm we decided not to leave the hotel choosing this small but cozy place. Italian menu very nice service and attentive to the customer's request. In 4 people we ordered appetizers (salami, meatballs and arancini) and pizza margherita (all in the picture). It was all very good, I found the arancini very special (excellent) and also the pizza margherita was of excellent quality. Pleasant evening accompanied by a good local beer (Brooklyn summer pale Ale) , absolutely honest price about $ 27 each for what reported thanks!

Staff were very friendly though our server wasn't super attentive and was slow. Most of the food was good (the chicken dish was awesome) but everything else was just fine. I was expecting better - didn't love the shrimp linguine dish but it wasn't bad. Nice, comfortable restaurant though.

We were actually staying at LUMA~On a whim, we decided to try AperiBar, what a lovely evening!!!! Service was great, let me toot Arnosto & Ernogsro’s horns! They were super sweet & on task with service!!!! Then, icing on cake was lovely manager, Yama, she saw my wine was a tad low, she had me refilled ever so promptly without my even asking!!!! All three employees took great pride in work with beautiful smiles on their faces! Last, but not least, bread, antipasti’s, & entree(Rigatoni Bolognese) was super yummy! Our antipasti were two types of meatballs, wish I had gotten names, but did not! Happy Hour is 4-6 Monday thru Saturday! (Wine $9 & select cocktails $10) Try them out, you will not be disappointed!!!!

We dined at Aperi bar/restaurant whilst staying at the adjoined hotel, and enjoyed the experience so much, we visited twice during our stay. The food is excellent, so fresh and with a good choice. The service was excellent, with our server offering advice as to pairing wines with our food choices, as well as offering a professional yet subtle and attentive service.

This is a great restaurant. We dined here at the end of December and we had a really lovely meal. Our service was excellent and they were attentive throughout the meal. Our cocktails were delicious and our meal was very, very good. My wife had the linguine al gamberi and she loved it and I had the pollo cacio e pepe and it was one of the nicest chicken dishes I've ever had. We ended our meal with espresso, espresso martini, and a fig gelato with kataifi and it was a delicious end to a delicious meal. It's a great little restaurant and one that we would definitely visit again!

Excellent food. Fresh products and very affordable prices. The pizzas are to die for. The starters have a strong Italian influence, fresh and tasty. Unmissable address

Small space but delicious food. Very close to Bryant Park. We had the Summer Prix Fixe menu which included choice of an appetizer, main course and delicious dessert for $45. Drinks not included.

Very pleasant Italian restaurant: cozy atmosphere, modern and neat decoration, delicious dishes, warm welcome from Nadja... We had dinner there 4 evenings, we were so enchanted.

We were staying at LUMA, the hotel where this restaurant is located. This was a PERFECT pre-theater dinner. They offer a reasonably priced (esp for NYC) pre theater dinner. We enjoyed an appetizer plate, Caesar salad, pasta bolognese entree and ice cream for (I think?) $39 per person. It all came out quickly enough for us to walk to the theater afterwards with just enough time. The food was delish and the service was friendly and fast without feeling rushed.
A Happy Anniversary Dinner
I wanted a special place in NYC for a special dinner for a special anniversary for my husband and me. When I discovered AperiBar, I knew I hit the jackpot. I saw that it was a restaurant by Charlie Palmer so that confirmed it. It's a small restaurant in the Luma Hotel (with a separate bar in the front). The food is thoughtfully prepared and so delicious. We would go back again and would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice date night. We noticed that a number of restaurant guests were there for a pre-theater dinner so you could say, this inviting place hits on all points. Our waiter? He was sublime too. Ahmed. Thanks for taking us through a very non-rushed meal for our anniversary. Food, Cocktails, Service: Perfection!
