I like Pizza. I ve been eating pizza all over. That night I was so tired that I ordered a pizza delivery....I m not picky at all but that night I couldn't eat more than a slice how terrible it was. How difficult could it be to make a decent eatable pizza!!!!!!!!!

very nice place with a lot of atmosphere and very good coal oven pizza. live music during the late afternoon time

This place was recommended to us by my Manhattan cousin, and it was well worth it! Great pizza, staff was very nice, and the place was hopping!

Great deal for two large pieces of cheezey pizza and a soda for five dollars. My friend insisted I had to try their special and I'm glad I did. It hit the spot.

Ordered a Large Pie - delivered via "Seamless" app. Nothing too crazy and outgoing to say - Pizza was good crispy, cheesy but missing a good tomato sauce.

Simply Great Pizza, ordered a small got a large no extra charge, decent wine, no rip off prices, polite, happy and attentive waiting staff, plus live Jazz...(shower and bath in restroom, bizarre :)

This is the place to go in the evening for a great pizza and some cold beer. It's lots of locals (mixed with a few tourists) and it's just laid back. There is live music most nights in the bar area (where you can also sit). I've been coming here since I moved to the city in 2002 and I've brought every one of my visitors here!

Arturo's Pizza is across York Avenue from Arturo's the restaurant on the corner of 85th Street. In the warmer weather you can get a slice from their window while double parked and keep an eye on your car. They have a special. two slices and a soda for five bucks! the pizza is good! I get a slice or two whenever in the neighborhood.

Two slices of good pizza and a can of soda from a corner pizza joint for the price of two subway rides. Not earth-shaking, but better than most.

There is nothing fancy about Arturo's Pizza. It's a narrow storefront with a counter and pizza ovens to the right and four tables for two lined up on the left. But, the slices of pizza served here are probably the best to New York City, perhaps anywhere in the country. The crust is perfect. The cheese is not too thick or rich. Their sauce is tomatoey and tasty. They also have just the perfect amount of oil on top. Try Arturo's. You'll love it!

It was my first night in the us and i never expected to' eat that good over there. Actually I'm not that kind of tourist going out hunting for Italian food if I'm beyond the alps, I was taken there but never regretted: huge and juicy pizza and tasty tortellini, as good as in many restaurants back home. However, much time has passed by and I cannot swear you'll find the same quality today.

Our first evening in Soho, looking for something that'd suit us and our 11-year-old niece and we stumbled upon Arturo. Beautifully just-burnt coal oven pizza, unassuming environment. Would definitely return.

I went to Arturo's Pizza for a second time to try to their pizza after trying their meatball hero and wanting to try the pizza. I was disappointed in that I thought that the sauce had no flavor to it and the pizza was oily. For $5.00 for two slices and a Coke is a great deal but they need to add some spice to the food. The service is very good and the place is clean but they do need to work on the food to take it from just good to great. I think Arturo's Pizzeria has a lot of potential.

Delicious pizza ,nice salad ; loved the crust and toppings. Our waiter forgot one pizza and was so sweet in his apology😘will definitely be back

Food and service was good, but the bathroom can use a major overhaul. I wouldn't bring someone that I'm trying to impress.

Honestly it was my first time here and even though the food was really good but like REALLY GOOD! the service was so bad, and rude, not even a smile that I have to say that it doesn't worth it. Sorry guy you have to work more in your staff!

We were tipped by locals to go to Arturo's, and it was really great! They were serving real coal oven Pizza, no fancy place but great service. Great prices!

Wanted to eat in the Village, so we took a subway down and just walked until we found somewhere serving pizza. The place was packed and they told us it was a 30 minute wait; 45 or so minutes later we were seated, but it was so worth the wait! What a find! Best pie I have had in a long, long time!

Best takeout pizza in the area. Delivery is timely and reliable. Food is always prepared exactly as ordered and delicious - will keep ordering from here definitely!

This was the 2nd visit to Arturo's in the last year and next visit may be one of the reasons we travel to NYC from Canada. GREAT food, really feels like a visit to a NYC anchor.

I go to Arturos, because it is local. Certainly not the best pizza in the city, though tasty enough. They offer a cheap lunch special, $5.00 for a drink and 2 plain slices, or a meatball sub. No ambience, barely enough room to turn around.

The Bacon Pizza! YEE-HAW!!!

The wait staff was rude, the pizza not good. This seems like an overpriced place that is a neighborhood hangout. Plenty of other places to get great pizza in NY.

You gotta love walking through New York and stumbling across these excellent, honey-hole pizza joints. I tried the Sicilian pizza at Arturo's and was taken on a journey. The crust had a strong crisp and the cheese melted in my mouth. It was cooked to perfection. The sauce was not too sweet, yet not too subtle; and the center was light, fluffy, and refreshing. Overall, this not the average New York hole-in-the-wall pizza joint. This an A+ stop for anyone looking for that special slice.

The pizza was great, not a typical NY pie but real good stuff. They serve great Italian food as well. Recommend highly.

We had the lasagna, which was slightly disappointing, but also had the dish of the day, which was stuffed chicken and spinach- which was absolutely fantastic. Along with a few beers and a coke and amazing jazz musicians playing right next to us. This was definitely what we had been looking for and we are so sad we didn't try out the pizza instead of the lasagna.

Arturo’s has the best eggplant hero and dinner I’ve found. The cheese and sauce are at perfect ratios and the eggplant is tasty and not greasy or over cooked. And it comes with a side of pasta. I’d love to serve it to company and pass it off as my own!!

We love Arturo's! Usually get it to go because the place is very small. Located on the Upper East Side--a great stop for a quick bite.

In addition to being the least expensive meal we had in New York, it was one of the best. They have an extensive menu but the coal-fired pizza wins the prize. They also have an excellent wine list with a variety of Italian wines. The free live jazz just seals the deal.

Pizza is great, coal oven, maybe nowadays not " the best" ( what ever that really means) but its def. among them and for sure God dam good. Place has warmth, character and old fashion-style friendly wait staff, who will honestly tell you that you don't need to order the large pizza- when you don't. Don't be surprised if your server takes up the mike by the piano and sings the good ol jazz btw your orders. Arturo's is non-pretentious, honest place. You don't only come here for the food, but the for the whole vibe. Kid friendly.

Dropped by here at 10 pm on a Friday night. Thought we would have a beer...ended up having an XL Pizza..sausage, olives dbl cheese and a great bottle of Sangiovese! A trio..piano, standup bass, drummer..singing and playing behind us...our waiter ended up knocking out a song...so much fun and an awesome pizza...!

I had passed Arturo's when walking in the neighborhood for work and noticed the great lunch specials they had until 4:30pm. On of them was a meatball hero for $5.00 and I thought it was a great deal. They put on four fresh sliced up meatballs with some sauce on a large 8 inch hoagie roll with lots of sauce and put into the oven. Then they added more sauce when they pulled it out. There sauce is very good with lots of spices and had a nice tanginess to it. The meat balls could have used a little more flavor but they were still good and the sandwich was a nice size. The roll was fresh and chewy the way a hoagie roll should be. For $5.00, it was a nice special. They also offer a sausage version of the sandwich or two slices of pizza with a soda as well. It is a great deal when you are in the area. The service is really friendly and they guys do a nice job getting the food out quickly.

After that title, I shouldn't have to say anything else. Good old fashioned New York style pizza. Crispy crust!
Great service!
We found this place on a rainy night when we were starving and cold and in the mood for pizza and wine. We ended up with bread, mussels, antipasti, salad, and then pizza because it was all so good. The service was excellent too. Friendly and attentive and timed just right. No complaints at all about this place. Loved it.
