Unfortunately, the service was very poor!!! You had to be served, despite Reservation, virtually begging! The food was also rather bad. Attention rip-off when paying. Tip is added as a roof top markup (20%) in addition credit card markup and waitress still wants tip although she was just sitting at the bar chatting instead of serving! Never again!!!

Had a perfect date night with my boyfriend here. Really affordable considering it’s in the heart of NYC - very near to Times Square and Madison Square Garden. Some really tasty food options and the drinks were lovely too! There’s a rooftop floor that you can sit on and people watch (highly recommended).

Had a great night here, taking in the jovial atmosphere at the bar. The barman Kevin was especially friendly and obliging, making Avenida a place I would definitely frequent again soon.

We called in for a drink on our last full night before going home . We were staying just across the road , and the rooftop terrace looked lovely . And it was , it was a Sunday night so was busy but not packed . We had already eaten but the food looked and smelled so good. The waitress was so friendly and genuine (I didn’t get her name ). We stayed longer than planned as it was such a lovely relaxed atmosphere and great views of everything going on and view of the Empire State Building behind us 😊

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Avenida in Midtown Manhattan, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience! The vibrant atmosphere and warm, welcoming staff made us feel right at home. The food was great– each dish was packed with flavors that transported me straight to Mexico. The tacos were perfectly seasoned, and the guacamole was fresh and creamy, just like it should be. But the real highlight was the cocktail menu. The drinks were expertly crafted, with unique twists on classic Mexican cocktails. I highly recommend the Margarita Picante– it was refreshing, spicy and perfectly balanced. Whether you're a tequila aficionado or just looking for a delicious drink to accompany your meal, they’ve got you covered. If you're in Midtown and craving some top-notch Mexican food with fantastic drinks, this place is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back soon!

Located in a calm passage close to Madison Square Garden , this is a great place to stop and relax with drinks , guacamole and other Mexican specialties. Reasonably priced. The cute “rooftop” is one floor up .
