The food was delicious and presentation of food and vibe of restaurant was also great! It does take awhile to get a reservation but worth the wait. Definitely must order the lemon cheesecake..definitely would return

The service was god awful. Couldn’t imagine going to a restaurant and waiting 20 minutes to be asked for a second cocktail. The food when it finally came was great though.

As much as I dislike posting “Bad” reviews, I believe honesty is the best policy. Considering the chefs and corporation involved in this venture it’s hard to believe the mediocre quality of the food. The Babka was doughy, the whipped ricotta very basic, the fried calamari were soggy. Papardelle with short rib ragu fell “Short” and the pork chop was dry. At that point we opted out of dessert to avoid disappointment. Our server was pleasant and professional. The space has a great view. Nothing memorable , no reason to return.

Visited with my 16-year-old niece. The restaurant is beautifully designed with a lively, fun atmosphere. We both had pasta — absolutely delicious. The desserts were also excellent but very large, so sharing is definitely the way to go unless you’re still really hungry. The staff were friendly, but the service felt a bit tired. It was hard to get attention, refills took a while, and our coffee order was forgotten and had to be reordered. Still, the quality of the food really made up for the service issues. I’d go back for the pasta alone.

We had a 5PM reservation on Saturday and arrived at 4:54. We were told seating began at 5PM and were asked to wait. Ten minutes later, we were still standing along with a minimum 50 others in a very small and increasingly crowded entryway and no one was being seated, although 4 hosts/hostesses talked among themselves standing idly behind the reception desk. Progress was not evident. We had a 7PM concert, so we left and were happily accommodated elsewhere.

We are a group of 7 having lunch here. Our reservation was at 2:30. Their kitchen closes at 2:45. So please be mindful. Two of our party were stuck in traffic (typical New York traffic). They were very accomodative and have the kitchen close so little later to accommodate us. Food was very good. Service was excellent. The waiter knew we were starving and threw in 2 servings of their famous garlic bread for free. What nice gesture! Food were served orderly and smoothly. Their ricotta cheese with truffle honey was to die for. They whipped the ricotta cheese to a very smooth and creamy texture topped with truffle honey.

Pleasantly surprised with the meals. Nice that it was close to the Lincoln Center. All four of us were happy with our dinner choices. Recommend the appetizer of whipped ricotta with honey.. The capelleti bisteca was delicious. Parppadella short ribs delicious too. Service was OK. Dessert however, was not as good as the meals. Do not recommend getting the dessert with olive oil gelato. Tiramisu ice cream cake was good.. chocolate tart was OK. The decor of the restaurant was very nice.

The Caesar salad was one of the best I’ve ever had! The lobster stuffed with pasta and the lemon cheesecake to die for!!! Wow!

We managed to walk in quite early and get a table at the bar. Everything was delicious, good wine, friendly service, great vibe. Recommend!

We loved our dinner at Bad Roman! I really wanted to eat here so I made a reservation right away when they became available 3 weeks out. I ended up having to move it a day but was able to work it out with alerts on the OT app :) My daughter and I arrived early and they were willing to seat us at 7:30 instead of 8:00 on a Saturday night! Our waiter Mo was awesome. I could tell he was busy but we enjoyed not being rushed through our meal. My pepperoncini martini was absolutely perfect and we loved the truffle honey whipped ricotta appetizer. My teen is a picky eater so she just ate the bread but they brought us extra when I needed it for the extra ricotta without asking and for no charge. The ricotta was so light and so yummy. She ordered buttered noodles and they presented them beautifully so she didn’t feel childish. $19 I had the delicious Cappelletti Bistecca $42 The portion wasn’t huge and it was perfect for me. Very tasty! I really, really wanted to try their lemon cheesecake and just didn’t have room. All of the desserts we saw looked so good. I had a glass of red wine instead and Mo poured a taste first to make sure it was the right fit for me. We would absolutely eat here again. We were actually disappointed that our dinner the next evening wasn’t here (haha). The decor and the vibe are so fun. There were all types of people here and plenty of kids, so don’t hesitate if you come w children. There were seats at the bar for walk-ins and that area of the restaurant looked like a lot of fun!

It was clear this spot is the new cool place to be seen. A good crowd and its nice to see people dressed up in NYC again. But the food is what is really the draw, and with not a bad view makes it a great place.

Service is poor even by NYC standards. Everything was so slow and inattentive it was embarrassing. This restaurant has fundamental staffing issues and poor standards. If you do go, don’t be shy to skip the tip. Its that bad

The buzz is great. The food is excellent. No fear of hunger here. Had a lobster which was great value. Would have benefitted from a finger bowl to really show the place as classy. Sticky fingers for hours despite washing hands. However a fun experience and everyone around us having fun.

Came here one evening, very busy definitely glad we pre booked. Service was excellent and the cocktails were lovely. Food was great and if we were back in New York I’d come again.

If you go here for the party you will be okay. A very modern, brightly and colorfully lighted venue that pulls in people who want to party. The good reviews and the bad reviews have merit. This inconsistency usually causes concern. Here the mixed reviews reveal that people come here for different reasons and some are bound to be disappointed. So here goes: lots of interesting beverages and wines etc. Perhaps why the bar gets great reviews. A very good menu. Some very good food, some okay food and some misses. The lemon chicken was good. The salmon was fine. The wedge salad should have been passed on—over crowded with stuff that made it unlike any other wedge that I could compare. The highlights of the dinner can be found on the dessert menu. There are many good choices which actually caused us to return—-for a party of all things. Very well located at the South West end of Central Park, The service we got was adequate—available but not especially connected to our table.

Went here recently with friends. Was expecting a lot more based on reviews I read. The food was ok. The service was ok. It just didn’t live up to the hype. We tried a few appetizers like the ricotta and the meatballs - meatballs were to die for. Order those. The papardelle with short rib Ravi was mediocre. Not very flavorful. Cocktails were pretty good.

This food was so good. It was so delicious so fun so amazing. I would highly recommend the appetizers the meatballs. The ribs were to die for. I can’t remember the name of the bread, but it was like this delicious little piece of garlic bread and the toasted pepperonis super fun super delicious

An exciting menu with really tasty food, lively atmosphere and extremely helpful and friendly staff. Astonishingly this all on a Sunday night, can’t imagine how much better it could be on another day…

Great service, fresh and tasty food, good cocktails. All in all we loved Finally made it to Bad Roman. And despite some outlier reviews that are downers, we found our entire experience to be tops. Nothing bad here! We started with some cocktails and moved right into sharing the gem Caesar that was incredibly crisp, the whipped ricotta cheese , and a garlic babka that was superb. Such a fabulous start to the meal. We then moved into the mafaldine pasta, the chicken with lemon/rosemary, and the beef fillet with ravioli. We sat in a fabulous booth had an amazing server (Mako) who was incredibly attentive. All in all we had a really nice time from start to finish. And a great playlist and vibe which made it all complete.

Bad Roman is consistently a fun place with excellent food! The veal chops, the fish dishes, and the pasta meals are not to be missed. And for a special treat the Babka with garlic is very very special!

We did not have a reservation but was able you sit and eat by the bar. My husband had a tequila cocktail and it was ok. We shared a salad and a pasta. The shrimp spicy pasta was excellent.

It is a well-visited restaurant in New York, near Central Park in a high-gamma shopping center. Reservations are required. The wait, despite the reservation can be insufferable (40 minutes at least). The service is very friendly and the staff always tries to make the diner feel good. The service is personalized and very well arranged. The food is regular; the pasta is very thick and looks thick (reheated?). The preparations are too spicy and the diner is left feeling upset stomach. The prices are too high for the actuality of the preparations, although they do pay for the service. definitely not worth it.

Great staff and great food! Restaurant location is perfect, central to all in Columbus circle area. It was decorated beautifully for the holidays and staff puts there all in to service. We loved the Brussels sprouts, the specialty bread, meatballs, and so much more. This is a wonderful place to meet up with friends during the holidays.

Great food (portions not American sized but we didn’t mind as tourists) that tasted fabulous especially the fillet Mignon with cacio e pepe on top, and the bakka garlic bread. The pasta was wonderful too. The tuna salad was bursting with different flavours. Excellent cute and fun decor!! Nice servers and waitstaff.

If you are looking to get WOW'd - go here! I was a little unsure as the restaurant was in a mall.... stay with me here. You get to the door, and you are immediately transported to a lively, beautiful space. We had a 7:45pm dinner on a Saturday night and were promptly seated. Service was extraordinary. We had the whipped ricotta (love a tableside service) They brought the ricotta and a big honey pot, they were very generous with the honey! My husband and I ordered the filet with the Cacio e pepe - i will dream about this one.... the filet was perfectly cooked and the ravioli was one of the most wonderfully filled pastas i've ever had. We also got the lemon cheesecakes that look like lemons until you cut into them. Very light and not too lemony" Every single plate was just so incredible! Cannot wait to go back

We had spotted Bar Roman and were looking forward to trying it as we have enjoyed dining with The Quality Group. We decided to split appetizers and ordered the Eggplant Pull-a-Parm and the Filet Mignon Meatballs. While we had hoped to eat them one at a time, both dishes came almost immediately. When we say immediately, they arrived before our glasses wine so we couldn't enjoy the meal as it should be. Because both dishes were excellent, we will give it another try and be sure to order wine and each dish at our pace so thtat we can properly enjoy our meal.

Came here on a Sun. night with a last-minute reservation for a party of 7, and they did not disappoint! The food was solid, the staff -- from the host to our server -- was knowledgable and friendly, and the drinks were potent. The decor is fun and wild, and the location in the Deutsche Bank Center is super convenient. After years of missing Landmarc, the old restaurant in this space, Bad Roman is a welcome addition!

Inspired by various TikTok reviews, we had dinner at Bad Roman. All of our four dishes were extremely salty and one was ove- seasoned with tarragon, to the point that it was impossible to finish the dish. The atmosphere in the restaurant was quite fun but our waiter was a bit terse, leaving us not wanting to return. 250$ for 4 people seemed very steep for what was at best average food.

It’s rare that a family of 5 can go out to eat and everyone gets a great meal , but that happened tonight at Bad Roman. Worth the trip up to the 3rd floor for sure. Friendly staff and Italian / European vibe. Start with the Roni Cups and Caesar. Entrees included Chicken Scarpariello Rigatoni; Salmon, Penne Gricia and Scallops Picatta. All were AMAZING ! Our sever Linda was attentive , helpful and made the night more enjoyable. We shall return for on our next visit to Columbus Circle for sure.

I went to Bad Roman opening night and had a wonderful experience. I’ve since come back for brunch and lunch. I’m not surprised to learn that this restaurant has become a hot ticket and very popular even though it’s only been open for a few months. Everything about it works. It is a pricey restaurant but you know that is part of the deal. The Roasted Garlic Babka is to die for. It should be an automatic order for anyone eating at Bad Roman. Other appreciated I’ve had were the oysters and meatballs. Just delicious. There $42 pasta is simply worth the price. Just fantastic. Well stocked wine list, full bar all with friendly service. Bad Roman is good for all occasions whether it be a celebration, a date night, or getting together with other couples/friends. I absolute love this restaurant.

We love the place! Very cozy atmosphere in Columbus Circle and service was very good. We ordered two delicious starters and our pasta dishes were delicious!

This was great for sitting at the bar, having drinks and some snacks. The food is very good, but. not a WOW. We sat at bar just for drinks first night, service was very good. Went back a few nights later for dinner and drinks, sat at bar table, service was fantastic, food was good. Atmosphere / Vibe is the reason to go.

Great atmosphere, and solid cocktails. Unfortunately extremely mediocre food. Its worth going for the scene and a cocktails however if you're looking for Italian cuisine there are much better options in the area.

The decoration of the restaurant is pretty. The salads are amazing. Especially the Cesar salad. Great cocktails and nice champagne selection. Child friendly. But very noisy

I am a New Yorker who lives on the UWS, and yet I come to this restaurant that typically has the bridge-and-tunnel crowd because the bartenders are amazing and the Martini Pepperoncini is one of my favorites in the city. Enrique and Brendan (Brandon?) add a touch of simple syrup to it and the combination of spicy and sweet makes for the best martini I have ever had. The two of them, indeed all the bartenders, are remarkably timely and attentive and highly skilled.

Great food, atmosphere and staff. Busy but not so noisy you can't talk to friends at the table. Portions are generous. The appetizers were interesting and absolutely delicious. The desserts were amazing too. It's a lively NYC eatery but with an intimate feel.

Great food but some of the menu didn’t accurately represent the dish —- tuna tartare had more tomato than tuna. Very beautiful and nice date spot

One word: Gnocchi. Order the gnocchi it’s perfect and the sauce is amazing. Overall experience great and the bathroom is very big (pretty random)

Happy to report that our high expectations were met. The place was immaculate, decor tasteful yet stunning, and the staff was HOPPING! We hadn’t realized when we booked reservations for a Sunday early afternoon, we were still in brunch territory — the menu was heavy on breakfast dishes with several non-egg related options, which we of course jumped on. Each dish had a signature tweak to make it distinctive, which certainly applied to the meals that we chose. First, we dug into a house made garlic loaf; fresh out of the oven it melted on the tongue. Next up, we tried the calamari appetizer, which was ample and extremely tasty. Lightly flash-fried with seasoned coating, great dipping sauces on the side. Both of my kids dug into the house -made pappardelle with a short rib red sauce— a twinge of heat added just the right tang to the taste. Superb. I chose the Rock Shrimp Chitarra, another house made pasta of the thickened spaghetti variety with a tangy citrus and tomato base sauce and tender shrimp and scallion. Another win. Despite being stuffed to the gills, we could not leave without tasting at least one dessert and so we chose the tiramisu with a twist, ice cream cake! Heaven Did I mention the staff was fabulous?

Awesome decor…modern gorgeous. Our server had a heavy accent so we had trouble understanding him. And h seemed annoyed when we had menu questions. Meatballs and honey ricotta were good, but when the menu said for the table..it should have had more than three pieces of bread for 4 people. Pork chop excellent. Chicken Scaperelli pasta lacked chicken Taramusu ice cream cake was hard as a rock but tasty

Located near Central Park and it was a great experience overall. Food was just spectacular and service very prompt and efficient. We were recommended by a friend and boy it did not disappoint us.

Started with a delicious martini pepperoncini, followed by the black truffle honey whipped ricotta (loved the presentation!) and peekytoe crab Luigi. We tried two of the pastas, the short rib pappardelle and rock shrimp chitarra, we enjoyed both a lot. There was a little lull in service ordering our desserts, but the restaurant was very busy and we were not in a rush. We shared the caramelized chocolate tart with olive oil velato and also tried the dry infused sambuca and housemade grapefruit 'cello. Overall, a delicious meal and will definitely be back to try more!

Waited 20 minutes to be seated at a freezing cold table. Wore my coat throughout dinner which took 45 minutes to arrive. Food was ok but nothing I couldn’t find elsewhere.

Mediocre to Bad food and worse service. Don’t order the veal chop. You will be disappointed if you’ve ever eaten at Patsy‘s just two blocks away. We didn’t see our waiter for 20 minutes at a time. Overpriced poor experience.

This is a beautiful restaurant in a great location. The bar and bartenders are fun and professional and great at this jobs. Then there’s the dining room. The wait staff are, maybe inexperienced is the kindest word. Forgetting tables, dropping things bumping into customers at one table to get to another. And we had to flag someone down to finally get a check. But the real issue is how bad the veal Milanese is. It was breaded and that’s it. I swear they forgot to pan fry it. So it was like eating a warm damp sock. Unforgivable anywhere but especially in a restaurant with these pretentions and at this price point. All the other meals were fine, just fine. Go for a drink and go elsewhere to eat. Marea across the circle is way better. And maybe the bartenders could give the wait staff some training

What an incredible dinner! So many creative and delicious innovations on Italian food and drinks! Service was great and fun full restaurant. 'Roni Cups & Ranch was the perfect start. A wow app and the Short Rib Pappardelle was absolutely divine! Oh my gosh so extraordinary flavors and textures!

Service was slow and fairly impersonal. I shared a burger with my daughter, ordered medium rare, it came with a side of fries. The meat was very dry, and the bun so over toasted that it was difficult to bit into. Fries were good, nothing out of the ordinary. Our friends ordered a couple of appetizers, the pepperoni cups and bread, which were very good , however, it took a VERY long time for our meals to arrive after. I believe that had something to do with the quality of our cheeseburger. The rock shrimp pasta and Caesar salad were good. Overall, high prices for just adequate experience.

One word: Gnocchi. Order the gnocchi it’s perfect and the sauce is amazing. Overall experience great and the bathroom is very big (pretty random)

This is an inventive, large space that can get loud and dark. The ladies room is too dark to apply makeup. The food is East Side expense account priced but more imaginative and tasty. Waiters are excellent. This is on the third floor of the Time Warner Center mall and very popular.

Fun 35th Marriage Anniversary Dinner for family and friends, happening, very crowded place with lot's of guest enjoying themselves, good service, good food, even better wine & drinks, everyone had a good time

We held our holiday lunch here and the food was great! Since we were more than 10 people we pre-selected prior to our lunch and ate family style. The cavolo nero tricolore sald and fried calamari were delish! And for the entrees the classic filet mignon and branzino were the standouts. The brussels sprouts were caramelized and crispy..just the way I like them. And for the dessert it was a tie between the chocolate tart and the sticky toffee panettone. Everyone was very happy with the meal!

Quality Branded has done it again. A fine meal was had by the four of us. Standouts were the Prosciutto Board with its lean pieces or both Italian and American prosciutto. The beef Cappuccio with potato chips and dressing was very good, as was the octopus. Each of the three pastas -- the penne, Chitarra and rigatoni and the veal chop were all very good. Vegetables including the spinach and the Brussel sprouts were good. The only complaints at our table were the skate and the broccoli rabe. We had a delicious lemon cheesecake. Cocktails were also good, including the strawberry Sbagliato, the Roman Cocktail and the gin martini.

We were there on a Tuesday night - early. The restaurant filled to near capacity pretty quickly but never got too noisy. Staff were attentive and helpful. Decor is upscale and modern. Tables by the windows were set for 4+ diners - ours was the row inside with a view to the outside. We were close to our neighbors but not as close as some city restaurants. We enjoyed all of our dishes. Meatball appetizers were popular - we saw many being served at other tables and were good with a healthy dose of Parmesan and sauce. Our pear salad was generous and we were glad to have ordered it to be shared. Plentiful arugula, nuts and pears. My salmon main course had two pieces that were prepared perfectly to the medium, cool center as ordered. The portion size was generous. Our dessert of a flourless cake with olive oil ice cream was a good finish. The server drizzled a portion of basil oil on top at our table. We were relaxed and able to watch our time as we were headed to a show - about a 25 minute walk to 43rd St.

Bit noisy when we got there but quietened down. The service was good and the food was oustanding. Good wine selection.

Very good Italian food and the setting is particularly nice. Particularly e joyed the pappardelle with lamb Ragu. Would recommend

The Hype Is Real!! Trust me Exceptional Italian fare that lives up to the buzz. The handmade pastas are revelatory, the wood-fired pizzas are dangerously addictive, and the meatballs deserve their own Michelin star. Attentive, knowledgeable, and appropriately paced. They strike the perfect balance between formal and friendly. Sleek, modern design with an energetic vibe. The open kitchen adds a nice touch of theater. Overall, Both times I visited, the experience was outstanding. The food, service, and atmosphere make Bad Roman worth the hype and price tag. Pro Tip: Order the meatballs, truffle pizza, and tiramisu. Trust me on this.

Spectacular from start to finish. The service was prompt, attentive, gracious, and kind. The food was excellent and delivered on pace and coursed out delightfully. The whipped ricotta and black honey truffle, must have. Arugula and pear salad, light refreshing, crisp. Pastas were fresh, flavorful, and I will go back for the Chicken Scarpiello Rigatoni alone. The roasted branzino was delicious, but more for the petite appetite, and the special veal chop was perfect in terms of temperature and flavor. The ambiance was cool, vibrant, and multi-generational, with the old heads like me at a table and the young starlets and influencers manning the lovely bar. The prices were surprisingly fair for the location, and overall, I'd love to visit again.

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME and SKIP BAD ROMAN. This place was the worst. We went for my daughter's 25th birthday (friends and family). The waiter took forever, ill-advised us about how many appetizers to order, and the timing was off. For 8 people, you cannot share one garlic babka the size of a toothpick. The main courses arrived either cold or burned (not impressed). We ordered five desserts and asked for a candle (they didn't even comp us for one birthday dessert). Drinks were watered down. We left the restaurant frustrated about how much we paid and starving. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SKIP THIS PLACE. Overrated, overrpriced, ridiculous.

Great restaurant, nice ambience, the prices are of course high, but not more expensive than comparable Italian restaurants in the same class. Creative dishes, classics with a twist and always first-class presentation of the food

Incredible food and 1st class service. Our family had the calamari, tuna tartare veal parm, filet, pasta specials with truffle and each was delicious. We were catching a 7 pm show and the waitstaff remained attentive to our time to ensure a great experience while cognizant of our time to depart. Highly recommend.

While the social media hype is what made me come , the food was great, but more importantly the server Daniel and his support staff were just top notch. I am server and a bartender and have high standards and they exceeded them! Back to the food. Garlic babka amazing my steak with the ravioli on top was amazing. Drinks were good. My mom loved the food which is hard to do lol. Thank you to everyone for a great dining experience. Oh the lemon cheesecake don’t miss that one

Casual restaurant. Food is average at best for the price and quality. Wine is on the high end price range. Service was good.

We're deeply disappointed with our recent experience at Bad Roman. My sister, who is in a later stage of pregnancy, specifically ordered a non-alcoholic drink but was mistakenly served an alcoholic one. This is extremely concerning, as even accidental alcohol consumption can be harmful during pregnancy. When we raised the issue with the manager, she approached us with an attitude and stated they’d review the footage (which we also have on video), but then never returned to address the matter. Another staff member eventually provided the general manager’s information. Our waitress handling the situation with professionalism. However, the lack of accountability from management is alarming, especially given the potential health risks involved. I hope at @badroman addresses this serious issue to ensure it doesn’t happen to others.

After walking around the Lincoln Center and adjoining area, we were quite hungry. We saw a restaurant named Bad Ramen.. as in noodles and Thai food! :) When we entered the restaurant we quickly realized that we were NOT in a Thai restaurant. The restaurant vibe is really really cool. The food... even better. The kabka was so flavorful and flaky. The bronzini.. the best I've ever had. The afternoon and pasta has so many layers of flavor... dear good! We highly, highly recommend!

A fun place, great vide, good service, Sammy looked after us and was amazing. Friendly, professional, a funny. We had good food, it was very NYC, amply portions and fairly priced. We just loved the atmosphere.

Cute place. Vibe on a summer Saturday afternoon was tourists and tunnel folks. Service was terrific, personable, professional. Expensive for what it was (baked eggs), other plates whipping by looked pretty good, suspect we ordered wrong, also wine by the glass was very pricey. Bellini "trees" with 16 shots on a stand very popular. Partial view of Central Park and Columbus Circle. Nice place to finish your time at the shops with a bev and a bite. Otherwise not a destination in my opinion.

Bad experience! We made a reservation for 22:30 and were met with a lot of hurry, badwill and even some hostility. I don't know why they accept to make a reservation later if they can't serve the customer well. Plus, graceless food and no spices. Black truffles with the taste of nothing, looked made of plastic. We won't come back!
Very busy andcrowded…
Stopped for a beer at the bar, before show at Dizzy’s..service was fine, very crowded and tight. Located in The Shops at Columbus Circle right at Central Park.
