LOVED it here...lovely atmosphere, great staff and amazing food! We ate at the bar and were really impressed with the attentive service. What more can you ask for??

My daughter is celiac which makes burger eating difficult. This chain has a gluten free burger with brioche bun that tastes as good as a normal bun. Great food, great service and a clear understanding of what celiacs need when eating out. Great staff too.

We arrived shortly after they opened at 11:30 on a sunny, springlike Friday. We were seated right away. Though there were not many tables full, they were busy with take out orders. Nonetheless, our service was excellent. Super friendly. They apologized for being slow but honestly we were fine because we weren't in a rush and needed some time to sit and rest. We chose to eat here because the menu accommodates lots of different dietary restrictions (dairy fee, gluten free, etc) Their fries are so yummy! I recommend a bowl of mixed sweet potato and regular fries to share!

Had an excellent buttermilk chicken burger here at Bareburger. Also had an excellent drink but can’t remember its exact name, tasted like fresh Strawberry Lemonade!

I ordered the Duke w/o onions or mushrooms, friend A ordered the Buckaroo w/o mushrooms, friend B ordered the American. All asked for medium well asking for no pink. Duke was perfect, Buckaroo was also correct but the American was very pink. Was taken back and a correct temperature burger returned within minutes. I don’t believe friend B was happy but it looked better. We all shared the regular fries that we ordered crispy/well done. Beverages were classic lemonade, black cherry soda and a Cava. All beverages were great. Cava was a new bottle, we heard the cork pop! Great service on the bubbly. I really enjoy bison burgers and this was very good. The brioche buns make a huge difference in a positive way! We did not really enjoy the 2 sauces that accompanied the fries but eating them plain was delicious. We had empty plates and empty beverage glasses at the end of the meal! While reading the menu the posted calories were very helpful but a bit off putting for one of the guests. It really helped me choose wisely and I liked it! Making changes to the burger options was easy with our waiter. Once he took our orders we never interacted with him again. After that the meals were delivered by two other men, one who looked like he could have been a manager. When we needed to return the one under-cooked burger we caught the eye of the lady who sat us but seemed like a manager as well. A third male delivered the corrected burger. All were very friendly especially the original waiter who helped us make decisions once he answered our questions about what he recommended. The menu is huge! We declined dessert and paid our bill while finishing our visit never feeling like we were getting pressure to leave. It was a Saturday afternoon and the group of 2 who were in line before us were asked to wait 10-15 minutes. We (3) were sat immediately luckily because we were famished. Our meals were delivered quickly. The taste of my burger was very good and the accouterments were fine. I love kale and would have been happy with more. The burger was very moist which is tough with bison. The lemonade was really lovely because it was not too sweet. I enjoyed it so much I wish I had a shot of vodka to add to it but ... I was happy with it. Our trip was fast, delicious and convenient. Really delicious, moist burgers on fantastic buns!

Great selection of meaty, vegan and vegetarian burgers and side dishes. There are some places out here but stop by the road. Burgers were very delicious and neat portions. Top for the price. Service was a bit harsh but everyone came fast and right.

Great food , always fresh and hot. Outstanding burgers and Chicken sandwich’s, never disappointed. Conveniently located

The buckaroo burgers were good, a bit bland on the sauce though, the brioche buns were yummy. The Brussels sprouts with lemon and Parmesan were really good and so were the chicken bites. I think the appetizers were better than most burgers. It wasn’t bad at all but not amazing either. Liked the fact it was organic but I think there are more exotic burgers in other places. The bison meat was okay as well if you like that but I wouldn’t recommend.

Had absolutely delicious burgers here on our first night in NYC. The quality of meat was really good, definitely a cut above most of the other places we ate. There was a huge choice on the menu. Sides were tasty also.

We ate there like 4 times. Awsome burgers. We tested all vegan burgers + impossible burger. I also had couple of "normal" burgers, they were great. Good taste, meat was superb. Drank Lemonade. It was just perfect. Staff is very nice and helpful. I recommend this site.

A decent burger but needed more seasoning. The ethics of it are great but still wanted a good meal. Staff are pleasant so not bad bad experience.

Everything served at Bareburger is organic. I was there with my daughter, who is gluten-free and often eats vegan as well, and there were good options for her. I had a regular beef burger, but they also have other meats like elk and wild boar. You can pick from one of the set combinations, or build your own. My daughter got the "Farmstead," which was a sweet potato and rice burger served wrapped in collard greens. They also had a gluten-free bun option. I highly recommend the sweet potato fries - they were delicious. The wait staff was very pleasant, and we also had a nice three-table conversation going for a while with some of the other diners. We arrived just before 6pm on a Saturday night, and we had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. Service was quick, though, and we had no trouble getting to our show on time. The prices were very reasonable for NYC, too. Would eat here again!

Really good burgers. Both off menu and build your own. Visited at happy hour and staff very helpful. Quick and attentive service. Would very happily visit again.

Great burgers and reasonably priced at that. Went with one Elk, a Bison and a standard, all were good sized and cooked perfectly. Even my wife who had a chicken Sammy was satisfied. Service was attentive and friendly. A+

On Sunday afternoon, my wife and I were looking for a reasonably priced restaurant where we could get a healthy dinner! We were going to the theater but we also liked the idea of getting a little exercise so we decided to go to Bareburger on West 57th Street. We were seated at a very spacious booth that would have comfortably seated four people and we ordered one of their great salads and an order of roasted Brussel Sprouts. Their portions are so large that one salad and appetizer is more than enough for two adults. Our waitress was very sweet and after checking out the dessert menu decided to splurge for their chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream and fudge! You might thin, what happened to our plans for a healthy dinner? Perhaps, it was just a tad too healthy! A few minutes later, our waitress came back, apologizing that they had just served the last cookie! She recommended their flower less chocolate cake, that was awesome! And when she bought us the bill, she charged us for the less expensive dessert ( the cookie) with her apologies. Our entire dinner cost about $35 and was the greatest bargain and one of our favorite dining experiences in NYC!

This burger restaurant was recommended to us by a waitress in our hotel. Good call. Fantastic burgers, including elk, bison, etc. Very friendly, efficient service from Luke. It's nothing fancy, but it is VERY good at what it does. If you want really good quality burgers, which are a bit out of the ordinary, this place is a must.

It was Mum's first trip to NYC and wanted to find a good burger place. We love eating anywhere with organic meat and after reading the reviews, decided to pop by early last Friday. Glad we arrived early as there was a waiting line from 7pm! Try the bison burger, delicious and we couldn't get enough of the sweet potato fries and rings. Ginger beer in the bottle was lovely too. Staff were super friendly too. It was so good that we ended up going back for our last meal. Would definitely recommend.

Bareburger was on our list to revisit in NYC. Great service and the different burgers were amazing: easy to create your own. Fried onion rings also recommended!

We went there for lunch around 2:30 pm on a Saturday as the menu looked different and enticing and had vegetarian options. The place was not crowded, but there were people at several tables. Unfortunately, the Falafel cups and the Falafel Wrap were both not available, though on the menu. We ordered American, Supreme and a Farmstead Burger as well as fries and onion rings. The food was good though we did expect the Farmstead Burger on a bun - as did the people at the table next to us, who were surprised, too, when it only came wrapped in kale leaves. The food is of good quality and the selection is nice, if available. However, it took 45 minutes for our food to arrive with the waitress only once telling us that it'll be just another minute - after the manager had said exactly the same thing when she had passed our table 5 minutes earlier. The manager did offer us milkshakes on the house to make up for the long wait. Yet, we did not want to spend any more time in the restaurant as we were there to explore the city. The waitress seemed to avoid our table alltogether - probably knew that the food was overdue, never checked on us and quickly dropped our check while passing by. Unfortunately, this was not a pleasant experience for us. (There is one bathroom which is heavily frequented and could use a little extra care.)

We stumbled across this little hole in the wall burger joint when needing lunch. All organic and free range grown. Awesome flavor and tasty.

I really enjoyed coming here because the burger tasted delicious, and the fries were really good as well. They have a few craft beers as well, and I got a dark ale which was quite good. I'd recommend if you are looking for a burger place in the city.

This place was recommended by a friend as having vegetarian options for me and meat option for my dad! Definitely didn’t disappoint! The food was fabulous!!!!

Came here with the family. Service was really quick and friendly. Food came very quickly. Some unique things in the menu such as Elk and Bison burgers. Good for kids as well. Would definitely recommend coming here.

Very nice place, friendly environment and very nice burgers! The menu is simple but very tasty! You can make your own burger and they also serve sweet patatoes! Prices are cheap for NYC and normal for tourists! A burger can be from 12$! Salads aren’t the best but it’s okay! Staff is very good!

This is an Awesome Burger place with the best variety ever hands down. Anyone and everyone will find something to eat here. The menu has two sides one for carnivores and the other for everyone else (vegans, vegetarians, etc...). If you are HUNGRY for an awesome burger regardless of your eating style you will definitely find something to satisfy your taste buds. Definitely recommend.

We love impossible burgers. Our usual bareburger closed so I ordered two impossible burgers from this restaurant. Brought them home. So disappointed. They tasted terrible. The bun, the cheese, the pickle, the burger - all terrible. And there was a hair in my husband’s burger.

Awesome burgers and great drinks too... Go for Happy Hour!! Bison, Duck and traditional burgers, all excellent! Great pickles, slaw and sides also!! Friendly and upbeat service...all around a great place!

The new vegan menu at Bareburger is delicious - they were so many great choices it was impossible to choose! We had great burgers, cocktails and shakes and excellent service. All round a real treat.

I enjoyed my visit to Bareburger so much I went there twice during my last stay. The burgers were amazing and were easily among the best I've ever eaten. The price is a little high, especially when you get sides or a milk shake with your burger. Quality over quantity sum up this restaurant the best.

I don't know how I had never been to this burger chain, but I definitely will go back again and again. This one is located near Columbus Circle, on 57th street right next to the A-C subway exit. The place is fairly big with plenty of tables and booth. Nice funky and colorful paintings of humans with funny animal's head. We tried the Great Plains (bison) and Blue Elk (elk) burgers and they were definitely something. The meat tastes slightly stronger, a bit more dry perhaps, but still delicious and it is a nice alternative to the usual beef burgers you order all the time. The basket of fries and rings to share was plenty for two of us and come with two very nice dipping sauces. Don't forget a large milkshake (you can mix as many flavors as you want) and you are ready for a nap and a lazy afternoon. They also have a brunch menu and a large selection of burgers (including build your own).

There were 3 of us and we had 2 burgers, 1 chicken sandwich, frings and a shake. The burgers (you can build your own or order by name) and sandwich were good and the booth towards the back was a nice place to sit on a cold winter's night. Service was friendly if a bit slow. Maybe a bit overpriced, especially the shakes since they were small. I recommend the Sweeet Chicken sandwich for something different.

When eating at a chain restaurant one expects consistently good or bad food and service. I've enjoyed eating at other BareBurgers but was disappointed by this one. I was served a burger with avocado and the avocado wasn't ripe. I ended up eating it anyway as the waiter wasn't around to be made aware. I think the reason the service was so poor is because we were a party of six. When there is a group of this size and 18% gratuity is automatically added to the check and there is no incentive to provide good service.

The best burger i've ever had. Service is very friendly and the fried onionrings are very good too!!

Bareburger has delicious burgers. I had a "so cal" burger with turkey and avocado. It was very good. fries werent the best. It was a bit expensive though.

We love Bareburger and have eaten at a couple of different locations in NYC. This is the first time we have eaten at this one which is just around the corner from our hotel. We ate there Saturday prior to the Canes / Rangers game for lunch. We arrived a couple of minutes prior to them opening but they were so nice and provided us with menus and gave us water so we could figure out what we wanted to eat. We ordered our burgers and fries. They arrived as ordered and were amazing!!! Can't wait to go back to NYC to eat here!

We’ve had a long day with college drop offs. Looking for something delicious but not terribly expensive so glad we came. Burger was absolutely delicious. Outstanding. Sweet potatoe fries also very good. Thanks!! (We got take out )

Enjoyed burger with brisket, onion rings, lemonade. Fries were limp and were the weakest part of meal. Great service even after I spilled my lemonade by accident. I'd eat here again.

We had a mix up and I didn’t have my phone with me. The hostess lent me her phone to message and phone my husband so we could meet up! Burgers were phenomenal!! Came super quick. My son had an original and I had a sweet potato based one with hummus....fabulous!!!

Small outside seating area but plenty of indoor spaces. Delicious burgers and excellent customer service. So many options to make it your way. Took a minute to figure out how the menu works, but then you can customize to your heart’s (or stomach’s) desire. Our server, Will, was so pleasant. A few blocks from Central Park.

I went at brunch time. The Cali blt was delicious. We also ordered some macho fries and haseesh and everything was so fresh and delicious. The orange juice tastes beyond fresh. Loved it. It is a bit pricey but it's worth the great meal and customer service.

Wow. Stumbled across this placewhile looking for somewhere to eat and so glad we did. The selection of burgers were unlike anything I had encountered, elk and duck breast to name but two, and everything is organic. Served with fries and a couple of sauces, one of them was the tastiest thing I've had. Would definitely recommend!

I visited one weekday evening and after I had my burger, wondered why it was so quiet as I really enjoyed my visit. I thought the decor of bears and the pictures on the wall were really fun. I liked how the produce wasn't intensively reader meat and the vegetables organic. I built my own burger which was pricier than buying a premade one but something I enjoyed. The burger was tasty and I was particular impressed by the texture of my rice bun. Had I not known I'd have thought it was made of wheat flour! Service was friendly and efficient also. Definitely recommended!

This place is great, we where seated and then straight away up popped Jason...first thing he checked was dietary stuff as he gave us our menus, and gluten allergies are no problem. He explained the menu because basically with this place you can “build your own burger”. Drinks arrived, food not long after, hot and cooked to the medium/well we had requested, Jason even gave me a complimentary coffee as it was flippin freezing out and we also discussed shows to see on Broadway....All in all a great place with great food and great staff, what more could you ask for.

This is a great spot for dinner!! Staff here are so friendly! Best manager ever, her name is Rebecca! Always friendly and smiling. They take the time to give you suggestions and recommendations. They also ask if there are any food allergies that they should be aware of.

Wish I could give 10 stars!!! Everything from the burgers to the beer, even the soap in the bathrooms was AMAZING! My kids asked to eat here every meal while in NY. Service was excellent and cute decor! Cant LOVE this enough. I had a turkey burger with avacado and sprouts wrapped in a collard leaf. It was awesome!

Went for dinner with family- everything we ate was excellent, very tasty....standard burger was great as was bison burger, great fries and onion rings with excellent dipping sauces! Large portions could be a bit larger! Chocolate shake also delicious! Somewhat pricey for burgers but these are gourmet burgers and this is the city!

We were a group of 5 and it was no problem to get a seat. We're not native speakers but this was no problem, cause the service explained how we order and configure our burger. All burgers were looked really tasty and so they were.

Amazing massive kids meals and lots of options. Great service and they also sell the impossible and beyond burgers which taste like beef but are vegan/vegetarian friendly and are extremely good!

I've been to a few different locations and am never disappointed. I love the sweet potato and the black bean burgers. The food is very consistent and good. The service at this one was slower. We sat at the bar and there was only one other person and they didn't order food. The food came out quick, just took awhile for us to get our order in. I enjoy the food though, so that makes up for slower service.

This is re.branch at 313 W57th. (App. won’t find this branch) In a wheelchair? Forget it. 3 interconnected doors, no one to be seen to help. I hope it was just a bad day because staff positively hostile. Impossible Burger was cold, uncooked, toppings flavorless (‘Gouda’?.. a slice of hard vegetable fat), bun stale and price exorbitant. Conclusion? Rock bottom NY eatery. Go to Burger King, it’s a third of the price.

My husband and I were looking for somewhere close to our hotel (near Time Square) We googled a bunch of places for Keto options. Some were close or not close to us. But Bareburger was... and thankfully we went. Our server Hannah B was awesome and very attentive. We were lucky as we got there right be fore the rush of the evening. I had the burger with the Collard Green Wrap...DELICIOUS! We also had the Cauliflower Bites with the organic ketchup. This is a great place with a great atmosphere for Keto dieters, vegans or anyone really! The burgers are delicious. The cost is very well worth it! Thanks Bareburger (and Hannah B) we will be back on our next trip!

Went with family of four. We had the bopper, with the beyond patty, and the original and the duchesse with the impossible patty. Our family loves a good burger. The burgers from Bareburger was amazing. The patties were juicy and tasted delicious. It is not the last time we go vegan with our burgers. The chunky monkey dessert is a strong finish to the meal. Friendly staff, good atmosphere. Fair prices.

Who would have thought that we could find bison burgers, venison burgers, turkey burgers and even vegetarian burgers along the usual beef burgers! We found this restaurant by chance and very much liked its burgers and the amazing space - it is on west 57th street, but we felt as if we were in Colorado!! Well done, Bareburger!!

Great food, great french fries (and I'm from Belgium, so that means something), great iced tea (not too sweat, really fresh), burgers are so so good (fresh ingredients, well chosen matching of flavours, great meat). Still we did not had a great night... The staff was so so cold and unfriendly neither I or my boyfriend enjoyed our evening. First we had to wait quite some time to order. The burgers came quickly and ten seconds after we finished our meal the weatress was their to ask if we wanted something for dessert. We were still enjoying the fries so we didn't want dessert (yet). "Ok, let me get the bill". Five minutes later we were on our way to the hotel... Such a shame because the food deserves 5 stars!!

The welcome is quite warm.it is quite soberly decorated. Quickly got the drinks, even the wine is no worse than the rest of week and even slightly cooler while it is very hot today. The National burger is actually very, very tasty.

We picked Bareburger for a lunch one day because we had a couple of people with us who are gluten free. Both of them really enjoyed the number of gluten free options as well as the food. Everything we had was delicious. There is a great selection and the service was good. Our waiter was friendly and patient. There was plenty of seating and we didn’t have to wait.

A wide selection of intriguing burger choices, with beef, lamb, brsket, duck, etc All are great. Also, wonderful shakes

This organic burger, sandwiche and salad bar has refined the 21st Century concept to the Nth delightful degree. Everything tastes good and reads healthy w/ catchy names. Our server, Dominic, was most helpful with a heap o' personality + welcoming hospitality He deserves to be running the chain. Give it a go and see if as per the first 10 reviews, see if you think Bareburger stacks up as a healthy notch above average.

As I have been a vegetarian for nearly thirty years I always struggle in NYC to get a good veggie burger. I had seen the impossible burger on an episode of Walhburgers and investigated it. Found they served it at Bareburger. If you like the consistency and taste of meat but, like me, are a vegetarian for moral reasons, you will love it!! Tastes and looks like meat, is cholesterol free, and you can build your own. Wonderful!!

Great food and service! My celiac sister could eat so many things and the kitchen was perfectly informed about all gluten-related issues. I was recommended the sweet bison blues burger by the waitress and the truffle style fries and it did not disappoint :)

"I had the 'fire quacker' burger and it was one of the best burgers I think I have ever had! Unique experience, hipster vibe. Where else can you get duck burgers?" - quote from my young teen son

Over the years I've discovered bison can actually beat beef on a burger if done right. This burger was perfect. Chosen with aged cheddar and gluten free bun with red onion, lettuce tomato, pickle and hot sauce on the side.Perfect. Staff are hard working and sincere. Exceeded my expectations.

Exelent burgers! 5$ martinis and mules during the happy hour (12-7pm). Good service. Overall a very positive experience.

While burgers bring you in and back again, do not overlook the unique and healthy salads. Feel free to cumomize a bowl short on service but long on quality.

The food the vibes the place for me were all amazing it is a must visit place if u love burger. There was a waiter called Rebeca such helpful and friendly i can say she was awesome to make un forgettable experience in this place ask for Rebeca😊.

Ordered the impossible and beyond burgers and the patties were burnt and dry. Sent the burgers back and they came back properly cooked. Fries were cold and soggy. Must have been a bad day for them. The service is efficient.

They have some menu choices for burgers but the fun part is building your own. You have many choices of protein from beef, chicken turkey, bison and SEVERAL veggie choices. Then you can choose your bread (or lettuce wrap) - we all took the brioche roll. Then choose a variety of toppings/veggies and sauces. They have a huge selection with some pretty interesting choices. The fries or onion rings also come several ways with three dipping sauces including a ginger ketchup. Nice vibe and friendly staff.

I'm not a vegetarian but their veggie burgers ate fantastic as are the vegan milkshakes. Service is really good as is the atmosphere. Locations all over NYC are pretty much the same.

Choose from Bison, Elk, Wild Boar, and More to taste some of the most exotic and interesting, not to mention delicious, burgers ever. Couple that with fired pickle slices and fries and you are in for a glorious meat treat enhanced with sides from a most creative menu. The bar serves great craft beers and has a wide selection of other alcoholic bevs. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and very couteous. Prices are reasonable. Food is delivered in a quick manner with no feeling of being rushed.

Great burgers, lots of choice, healthy-ish and definitely environmentally-friendly. Very reasonable prices considering the location on W57th and Broadway. Fast friendly service. Possibly the best meal this week in NYC!

Ordered online. Picked up and wolfed it down, no pun intended. Kind waitress and staff. Quick burgers and sweet onion rings. Will be back next time as I always enjoy their service and professionalism though the elk could have been more gamey, sorry not sorry.

Awesome burgers with a unique variety of burgers or you can build you own. The peach tea is very good as well! Regular stop when I visit the Big Apple. Never disappoints!

definitely a good burger spot, especially if you want to try burgers made of meats other than beef. I find them to be a little too small for the price.

No reservations, but super quick service and food was delivered to table quickly. We came here specifically for the Impossible Burger... amazing! Vegan shakes were great...I recommend the mint chocolate cookies and cream. If you love pickles you need the side of pickles, trust me! Only complaint is that I should have brought my ikea tools to tighten and secure the high-chair, it was as wobbly as a one-legend man with a limp. Tables are slightly tight, I had to suck in my gut, probably the only reason I only had one burger. The onions rings are super, seasoning is in the batter, best I’ve had!
Excelent Burgers! Good service.
As said. The menu is simple and organic. The salad was really tinny but it was really good too. The onion rings were really good and the burger, to go back for another one, probably I will.
