This restaurant is near the hotel and it’s very enjoyable and the food is very good. Benny’s a good manager and Senk Is a great bar person. I was eating at the bar and the food is delicious. service is great. carpaccio is delicious. I can’t remember what else I had because I wrote this too late but definitely go there. It’s right near Smith and Wolensky’s and it’s a lot less expensive

Good location, average food. The orecchiette did not taste of what they should be. The service is good and the personnel friendly

We are an Italian couple and often hang out in the Midtown East area and its restaurants. We recently discovered this new Italian restaurant and wanted to try it. The restaurant is not very big, and we immediately liked it because it is very cozy. Even the food satisfied us. Unfortunately, however, the place is very noisy, and it becomes difficult to talk with a normal tone of voice. If you are two, maybe it's worth stopping at the bar at the entrance. Less comfortable, but also less noisy. We are waiting for them to open the terrace for the coming season. Surely it will be pleasant!

Really good meal - seated in the semi outdoor area which had a lovely atmosphere. Ordered the chicken parm and side of bolognese. Tasty and huge chicken parm portion

So excited to eat out on NYC. Cute garden patio. Awesome service and we are everything they served us and loved it all. Brazino was delicious. Homemade desserts. Can't wait to go back.

Our Italian entrees were good (chicken with artichokes & Gorgonzola sauce). I was disappointed in my salad which was suppose to have pear and walnuts, but had little of either.) Most of the diners were families and hetero couples. We were two guys (old friends) having dinner and felt that our service was definitely inferior - prejudice? (That is what we sensed.) After our entrees were served, no one checked back with us until we were finished and he came to take the dirty dishes. It seemed that the other tables received more attentive service. The place is nice with white table cloths, simple yet nice decor; however, our service was poor, even though we ordered wine as well as drinks from the bar. This restaurant is quite noisy too, which made conversation difficult unless you sat close together. There is interior as well as courtyard seating.

Every piece of our experience was charming and delicious. Courtyard seating was comfortavle and unexpectedm We had amazing service from our Albanian server who perfectly paired our selections with the wine. Mussels and clams appetizer was appreciated and the special calimari carpaccio was lovely. The homemade buccati and the braised ribs were special. Great wine list. Desserts ended the evening well.

I tried this restaurant because it replaced one of my favorites that had burned down. What a wonderful decision! I was greeted by the owner as I walked in the front door. The staff (bartender, wait staff, etc) were professional, friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The menu was extensive but the specials were even more impressive. We started with a fabulous ahi tuna appetizer followed by a seafood risotto and finished with veal picatta. Each was prepared to my liking and presented well. I am not a chef so I will not express opinions on preparation other than to say I really enjoyed each course. The wine list has a nice selection at various price points and we found a nice Cab that fit our budget. I was very impressed with the attention afforded my party and I will definitely return. In fact, I returned 2 days later with some friends and we had another great meal.

We had a good time with our friends, the staff was very attentive and knowledgeable on the menu. The food was amazing! I recommend Thank you Barolo we’ll come back

Visiting the city for the first time since February 2020, we were (understandably) cautious about many things but really wanting a great restaurant meal. Followed a suggestion on Yelp which named Barolo East as a place to have authentic Northern Italian and enjoyed a more than one mile walk from our hotel to get there. Found Barolo East to be charming, just the right size with lots of offerings to keep everyone happy. We all enjoyed the wait staff who struck just the right note, the ambiance and safety--keep the plexiglass! - -and the oh-so-fresh food. A thoroughly enjoyable experience all around. We shall return.

This restaurant was good but not great with average prices. The ravioli and Branzino were excellent, but tuna tartare was probably the worst I have ever had (it had chopped raw garlic in it which was overwhelming). We had a misunderstanding with the wine selection which on our end we take responsibility for not double checking the bottle. The service was attentive. The best aspect of the restaurant is the quaint outdoor space that has recently opened.

Great food, great service! I had the sage gnocchi, recommended by the server, which surpassed expectations. Pasta was done to perfection. Tiramisu was exceptional! Prices very responsible. We sat outside and enjoyed a perfect evening! Thank you to the staff for supporting romantic night out!

Had dinner at Barolo East recently - What a winner! the atmosphere is very European.....there is also an outdoor dining area outside for those wonderful warm evenings.. Dining was a pleasure....I especially enjoyed the Polip alla Luciana, the Lamb ragu e Parpadelle, and the Black Sea Bass...finish it off with a delicious, (not too heavy) authentic style cheese cake The staff is attentive, and professional. A very nice place to eat with a varied menu, particularly if you’re dining alone because you can sit at the bar and have a nice meal and a glass of wine. The food is good, solid Italian food. They have several vegetables as a side, which is a nice thing to offer along with free bread with a very good red sauce to put on it. They do a lot of things right here. I enjoy coming to this restaurant when I’m in New York..

I just happened to walk by and decided to drop in for lunch, and it was an excellent choice. The ambiance was nice, the service was attentive, and the food was good. My choices, the grilled octopus and seafood spaghetti (pictured) were done right, not fancy, but rightly good. I’ll surely come back.

How does one Italian restaurant rate better than any other? Well, the staff is one way and the food is another. Barolo has both of those covered quite well. It's a local place for many in that neighborhood. We were just lucky to be invited to partake in a wonderful meal with friends. The atmosphere is relaxed and romantic. The food was fabulous and the staff was very attentive. They are very appreciative to have loyal customers who have helped keep them alive through all the ups and downs of the past couple of years and it shows. If we lived in New York, we'd definitely make that one of our regular haunts.

Very cozy place, excellent food and attentive staff. I cannot wait to go back, I highly recommend this place.

Very friendly staff and food was of great quality. I had the burrata, which was a special and for main I had the sea food spaghetti.

Italian food how is supposed to be .The special pasta with ink sauce was out of this world very delicious.Amazing service and atmosphere is cozy.Overall a very good dining experience , highly recommended!!!!!

Traditional Italian restaurant with friendly and efficient service. Great food and a very good wine list. Worth a visit.

Restaurant with a super pleasant atmosphere, excellent food and great service. It has a great location, on a quiet street, and an adequate price. I recommend!

Food was amazing. The wine list was top of the line. My wife had an phenomenal homemade fettuccine that was by far the best one I ever ate. I had a seafood risotto that was another top of the line meal. From now on this is my place to eat in midtown Manhattan. I will definitely be back.

The restaurant has been opened since 2018, but not living in Manhattan, it took us awhile to discover it. The setting and decor are nice, simple but classical Italian, and there is a lovely garden in the back that is a major plus during the warm weather. I believe there is a priced fixed menu generally, but we were there during Restaurant Week so that was the priced fixed at the time, which offered a variety of choices for $39.00. My wife and I shared the scampi sole mio appetizer, which consisted of four large shrimps with sundried tomatoes and broccoli rabe (?) [$16]. It was very tasty. I ordered the chicken scarpariello (with sausages) off the regular menu [$23], and my wife ordered the caprese salad, salmon and Italian cheesecake from the RW menu. Everything was very tasty, ample portions, and the service was friendly and attentive. We will be back.

In looking for a restaurant location convenient for three friends we came upon Barolo East. What a great find! It was everything we wanted - great food, great service, warm, welcoming, and not too loud. We will definitely be going back!!

Ive been here a few times and this is going to be my regular place. Perfect atmosphere outstanding food phenomenal costumer service and i don’t know what else to say about this amazing. Go and try it, you won’t regret it.

Food was exceptional, ambience and service as well. We will definitely return. Pasta dish was beyond description.

We had a gathering happening nearby so I googled best midtown east restaurants. They were able to seat us outside right away as walk ins, and the menu and food was excellent and plentiful. The manager Benny came out to say hello and was charming. We will definitely be back.

One of the best meals I ever had. A group of six gathered for a reunion dinner. We shared some appetizers. The calamari is an absolute must. The main courses were plentiful and delicious. We were able to eat in an air conditioned enclosed outdoor space. What a structure! Albertson, our waiter, was attentive, knowledgeable, and had a wonderful presence. The manager came by several times to make sure that all was going well. I highly recommend Barolo East. A gem on East 49th street!

This is an intimate and warm restaurant. The staff were warm and attentive. The food was most satisfying and beautifully presented. I can't wait to return to this wonderful restaurant again.

Outstanding. I read some other reviews which must be totally dated or from competitors. Booking - easy, direct on website and we were expected. Matre de- efficient and very polite. Food - pasta great. Deserts Devine. Waiter - knew ALL the menu including a long list of specials. All fresh made onsite. I tested him after eight desert options and said is that all? Answer of course not he then ran through the gelato options. Recommend strudel. My wife asked for extra chilli in the penne, no problem delivered to table. Tableware - cutlery WAS changed at each course. Ambience- relaxed chic. Plenty of room. A class feeling but not snobbish. Price - very reasonable given above. Highly recommend.

Two women looking for dinner on a Wednesday evening - found Barolo near our hotel - arrived before 6pm and sat at the bar - wonderful service from the female bartender - lovely dining room too - delivered delish bread with red sauce and oils. Ordered Buffalo Mozzarella which was delicious. Rigatoni was basic but good and portion was just right - ate all of it. Friend had orriechetti with shrimp. Bottled beer selection and large wine list. Small, intimate bar area. Great atmosphere.

While walking around looking for a place for dinner, we came upon Barolo East on 49th St. I am happy to report that what followed was a very positive experience. The waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. We ordered 2 different wines and 2 different main courses and both of us were delighted with the results. Even though it was a Sat. night and busy, we were able to hear each other without straining to listen. What was also much appreciated was the fact that we were not hurried to make room for new customers. Highly recommended.

Beautiful decor, fantastic service (John and Gustavo), great wine, best Lasagna I have ever had (except for my wife's) and the Panna Cotta was memorable. Like the title says - perfect, maybe the best Italian I have had in 40 years.

This neighborhood Italian favorite has traditional and innovative dishes to provide a satisfying meal at a reasonable price. The staff is well versed in a knowledgeable mix of service and fun. There is a full bar and a well stocked wine cellar. A perfect place to spend a cold winter's night.

We had a wonderful lunch. We love Tonny ! His reading of the specials is so entertaining. The food is also fantastic!

Went there to celebrate a friend's birthday recently for lunch. We ate outdoors on a lovely newly redone terrace. The food as well as the service was excellent with good options and very well priced for a 3 course meal of this quality. I would highly recommend this restaurant to business people and residents in this area!

We where staying at the hotel that was one block away while visiting NYC. Great place, great atmosphere and great service from the front of the house to the bartender! A wonderful mosaic of food to choose from. I had the spinach ravioli and my husbund had file mignon from the daily specials - delicious.I highly recommend it, cant wait to go again ...

Outstanding. In Manhattan the restaurant biz is fierce. Mediocre won't cut it. This cozy spot will not disappoint. Full of local diners- great sign. The service was exceptional-never an empty glass. Team service meant every request was handled immediately. Tasty bread. Beautiful pasta. The gnocchi is perfect. Sea bass entree was excellent. The house wines are very good. We felt like very special customers on our first visit. Crazy praise but with my coffee after dinner I was thrilled with the SWEETNER selection. Every option available. They really care! Thank you!

We fell upon Barolo by accident whilst looking for a steakhouse and were very pleased we did. Excellent food and service. Highly recommended and we will be back!

We ate here last night on the recommendation of the Concierge #Norman at the #Intercontinental#Barclay. The ambience of the restaurant makes you eel as if you are in a trattoria in Italy. It was Restaurant Week when we were there so we had a 3 course meal for $USD39+tax & tip p person plus wine. All up cost for 2 with sparkling water was around $USD175. Our waiter, very tall young man was great with plenty of personality but also knew his food and wine. The restaurant is under the tight control of its front of house manager and he misses nothing!! The food was really good - my husband had smoked salmon tartare entree followed by a main of pasta - gnocchi ragu plus a caramel semifreddo for dessert. I had a tomato burrata, a piece of organic salmon served with vegetables and a Dijon sauce ending with pannacotta. We also enjoyed a 1/2 bottle of Barolo. We had a great night there and would definitely return.

We recently visited from out of town and made dinner reservations for outdoor seating at Barolo East, having never been there before. There were 3 of us and 2 of the pasta dishes were awesome (langostine special, and gnocchi), and one was good but not great (spinach and ricotta ravioli). The chocolate souffle dessert was outstanding. The service was terrific too. My only concern was that the outdoor seating was mostly enclosed on 3 sides; I had expected real outdoor seating. They did have true outdoor seating out front, so if that is important to you I would confirm when you make the reservation where you will be seated.

Looked nice from the outside so we went in in. Good service and exceptionally tasty food. The tomato sugo they bring to the table with bread is a flavor feast all on its own. The antipasta. paste and secondi were all delicious. Unfunny room for desert.

Meh. Just meh 🫤 Saturday night in May, not too busy, not quiet, but all seemed just a bit too much trouble for the Barolo team. Food was nice (very) but service ‘weary’ and wine was completely forgotten even when we hastened/chased (eventually came post meal - cost waived at Barolo insistence). Overall, just a bit perfunctory: We all have off days, perhaps this was one of theirs. Give them a go, as I say, food was nice, hopefully your experience will be better than mine.

Went for a late dinner after arriving in the city and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Everyone who served us was professional and attentive, offering good recommendations for both food and drink. My companion had the special squid ink fettucine (excellent) and I had the spinach/ricotta ravioli made with fresh pasta (also very good). We sat "outdoors" in the enclosed rear patio in the rear, which was perfect for an evening meal. Overall an excellent experience that I hope to repeat during another visit.

My husband and I had dinner at Barolo East and enjoyed the best branzino we have had in NYC. We always split our meals between a pasta and branzino and always eat at Italian when in NYC and Barolo East's branzino is by far the tastiest and most flavorful we have had. I highly recommend! We also ordered the lamb ragu and were not disappointed. We made reservations on a Sunday night but probably did not need to as there were ample tables available. They also offered nice patio dining. The service was top notch! Would definitely return just for the service and branzino!

Enjoyed an excellent and authentic Northern Italian lunch at Barolo East last week. We opted to sit in the lovely enclosed back patio, and started with two well made Manhattans from the full bar. We shared the Chicken Liver appetizer which we enjoyed along with the beautiful semolina bread that was brought to the table, then moved on to the Linguine al Vongole, with the actual Vongole Veraci, tiny clams as served all over Italy, both of which were excellent. We also shared a huge Vitello Milanese, pounded thin on the bone and accompanied with the traditional side salad of arugula and cherry tomatoes, and this we enjoyed with a tasty Chianti Classico. Our waiter was an efficient, charming Albanian, whose name I don't remember, but who provided memorable service for a fantastic lunch. Highly recommended.

We went for dinner this evening with two young kids. The restaurant was very accommodating to the children including our youngest who was a little noisy at times! Our waiter was very friendly and kept coming to check we were ok / kept our littlest one entertained which was above and beyond! The food was delicious. We sat in the covered backyard area which was really cute and is partitioned for additional safety. Would definitely recommend!

Delicious food good prices friendly helpful waitstaff. Quiet vibe good for conversation. Just happened to walk in - but we will definitely be back

We been there last night. The food was really good and the service was so friendly. We enjoyed a lot and we will be back before we leave. Thanks for everything.

The food was really very good and we enjoyed our meals. Wait staff was OK. We did order a bottle of wine as it was much less than ordering by the glass. Shared an appetizer, which was also good and a dessert so the bill was not terrible in the end.

This is an excellent modern Italian restaurant with fresh pasta and an amazing casual chic atmosphere. They really captured some magic here with good wine prices, excellent pasta and a friendly staff. The vibe is fun and the food is spectacular. Enjoy!

The food and service were good. Notably, my rather expensive umbrella was stolen during dinner. While I was looking for it, the staff offered me someone else's umbrella as compensation. Ridiculous.

Can’t get enough of this place: beautifully decorated tables, starched tablecloth, crystal clean glasses, quality silverware. The team always respect our privacy, no matter when we appear. We entered 10:45PM (yes, long hours in the office) and still the crew welcomed us so cordially! Thank you! We ordered sea food spaghetti (so tender) and zucchini penne (great sauce with thyme). I wish I could have Barolo/Barbaresco but it was Thursday and we still needed to work overnight, so we ordered a chamomile tea… that was a great alternative I would pay a price of a bottle of wine for. Strongly recommend this place for all busy professionals in Midtown. Suitable for a date as well, it is quiet and elevated. Patio area looks pretty.

Manager not up to expectations - clearing tables rather than look after & speak to clients Minestrone soup was not made by a trained Italian chef -terrible Cold plates Food plain -lacking imagination Overall disappointing

Very welcoming, warm atmosphere. The service is excellent, the food is superb. Nothing to say. Very friendly. Highly recommended address. Signed Thomas of France

Very welcome. Pleasant, considerate, smiling and professional staff. The cuisine is delicious, we feasted! You can go with your eyes closed!! Have an appetite!

Located off 49th and 3rd. Very nice traditional Italian with a nice bar to have a pre dinner drink. Food was excellent and service good. Ambiance good - busy place.

If you are staying in midtown and looking for high end Italian food in an informal neighbourhood environment then Barolo East is the place to go! The highlight is the pasta. Homemade and delicious. We had the gnocchi Norma with eggplant and scallops. Light as pillows. And the pappardella with lamb ragout. Outstandingly rustic. The ambiance is modern and the services is friendly and attentive. Thanks to Dino our server and chef di casa Alessio Rosetti (Michelin star). And thanks to Ana, Concierge at the Benjamin Hotel for recommendation.

We went in a family group with children and the service was incredibly slow and the staff were not very friendly at all. I would go so far as to say the staff were rude. One dish was cold and when we asked for a new dish, they simply microwaved the first dish! The food we had was nice but the overall was less than ideal.

This is very authentic Italian restaurant.White table cloth, warm feeling place. The food was absolutely delicious. We started with Carpaccio yumm....Delicious.My wife had the veal chop and said it was the best ever. I ordered the truffle fettuccine special which was very tasty.Service was excellent we were recommended by nearby Marriott hotel so glad they did .Thank you for perfect evening!!!!!

A great restaurant near the hotel . It had been a while since we dined there and it was better than i remembered. The service, food and drinks, were great. The only issue was one of servers was flirting with my wife. Very uncouth

Our impression was that they saw us as one-time customers (or maybe they see everyone as one-time customers) from the opening trick question 'would you prefer still or sparkling' (later on you find out the wrong answer has cost you $9/bottle). The correct answer of course is 'tap please', as there are a number of waiters walking around with water pitchers. The food was disappointing, esp for a restaurant that sees itself as higher class. I had the spaghetti with clams. Yes my 6-8 quarter inch tiny shells were technically clams and they sat on a dry sauce-less pasta. Not good. Ah, and the wine list was well over 3x (closer to 4x). Walk before trying to run would be my advice to this restaurant, ie get the basics better.

The cocktails were good and well made, the appetizers were great as were the pasta selections. We felt a bit let down by the wine menu suggestion relative to our preference, but overall it was a solid meal.

For the moment, this very good restaurant is offering an amazing $25 prix fixe lunch. The choices for all three courses are excellent, and all three of us really enjoyed what we selected. The only surprise was the bill, where the three meals were charged at $117 rather than $75. We pointed this out and it was changed -- no apology, no explanation. Which makes me wonder whether, since the restaurant was pretty empty on a rainy winter Monday, someone decided to try to take a little extra revenue. So, enjoy the very good food, but definitely check the bill.

We heard about the opening of Barolo East and my husband and I have been excited to see what all the hype is about. It truly surpasses anything in Midtown! As soon as we walked in the Breathtaking décor set the tone for our truly one of a kind dining experience. My husband was impressed with the extensive selection of wines and the server made the perfect recommendation to pair with our meals. We started with the tuna tartare and the mussels and clams. The homemade linguine with the white truffles was declicous and my husband is still telling me how much he loved the Pappardelle pasta with veal ragu. We finished off with the profiteroles with nutella, I highly recommend trying! Throughout the entire dining experience we were treated with gracious hospitality and top notch service. We will be back soon.

Great addition to the neighborhood. Food, service, and ambiance was perfect. Went for dinner on NYE and the experience was excellent all across the board. Looking forward to coming back soon to try some of the dishes I couldn’t eat all in one sitting.

My husband and I dined at this romantic restaurant last night. We were seated on the top floor overlooking the bar area below. Very nice view. Tables are spaced nicely and the hostess checked our COVID ID. This made us feel safe dining here . Service was attentive and the food freshly made and very good. My husband had the chicken scarpariello which he really enjoyed, I had the rigatoni with a fresh tomato sauce and we shared a shrimp appetizer. All were very good. My husband had a glass of Barolo which he was excited about. The manager stopped by the table to see how we were doing and we chatted for a while which was a nice touch. We really enjoyed our dinner at Barolo.

This place was one of the best restaurants i’ve been to food was amazing and the atomsphere was very good. Very recommend and the service was excellent. one of the best restaurants i’ve been to

We were in an Italian mood, wanted to stay local to our hotel (Benjamin Royal Sonesta), and hit the bullseye with this place. We are bar-sitters, but the table areas looked classy also. But, we chose the first seats at the bar, and had a fantastic experience. The bread, the salad, the Gorgonzola pasta, and the Bolognese pasta were all fantastic. Senka was our bartender, and Benny was the manager I kept bothering about how great a place he had. NYC has plenty of options, and I am no expert on all of Midtown. What I CAN say very confidently is that if you are walking, riding in a rideshare, staying ANYWHERE close to this place, and it is dinnertime and you are hungry, you need to stop by. And, I can say that we probably would have trekked to this place even if NOT by our hotel had we known the atmosphere and product. No letdown will occur. Lots of pics below. Definitely recommend and see you there (next time wife and I are in NYC).

The atmosphere is awesome. Our server was a true professional and knew his stuff. He treated us with class! Our food, desert and drinks were excellent! I don’t hand out five’s often but Barolo deserves it! Give it a try!

first of all listed in the village when about three miles from there ! SUPER expansive for everyday not fancy pasta and we were pushed to leave rapido presto. DONT lose tour time there ; T H I E V E S

We had a wonderful meal here during our family visit to Manhattan! When I told the host my last name, he knew my first name - just by memorizing the reservations. The waiter was very helpful, friendly, and just the right level of attention to our family. I had a seafood special, with bass, shrimp, and mussels, that was superb. The place is not too big - not too small. We had plenty of space from the closest neighbors - no attempt to cram in too many tables. They have an outdoor back patio if the weather is right. It was a beautiful evening and a really nice meal.

Absolutely perfect service and food. Calamari , incredible ! Highly recommend, definitely returning soon !

We expected this to be a great experience, but it was really just about average. The food was fine, but nothing special. The service was good but while we were finishing our coffee and dessert the manager (owner?) came to our table and made it very clear that he was ready for us to leave. First he said “are you still here?” Then he said “we’ll be open again tomorrow”. Neither comment came across as a joke. We all got the sense that, after less than 2 hours for drinks, appetizers, main courses and dessert he wanted our table. With thousands of other restaurants in NYC, we won’t bother coming back here.

My wife and I had a fantastic meal and evening at the Barolo East restaurant. The food was exceptional only to be topped by the atmosphere and hospitality. Great meal - Great People - Great Evening!!!

We dined in the rear outdoor section of the restaurant. It feels like a garden setting in the middle of New York City. Our server gave very helpful recommendations, which we followed. We started with Burrata appetizer of the day and soup of the day. Both were fresh and delicious. Both of us continued with branzino preparation of the day, beautifully prepared. And both of us concluded with spectacular homemade tiramisu. Staff were genial and helpful. Not inexpensive, but worth every penny.

This was a perfect place for our pre-theatre dinner….away from all the touristy crowds! Ambiance was charming (we dined on the rear enclosed patio—but the entire restaurant is intimate and lovely!), waitstaff was superb, and food was outstanding! Caesar salad was among the best I’d eaten in years and the fettuccini bolognese was perfection. Thoroughly enjoyed this hidden gem in a very safe neighborhood just a brief Uber ride away from the hustle and bustle of theatre sitting and Times Square.

Rarely do you visit a restaurant where everything is just right. From the welcoming host to the private garden seating with either heat or A/C depending on the season, to the service and the food (especially the food.) Immediately upon sitting we were brought the bread offering, not accompanied by the typical oil and vinegar dish. They offered grated cheese to enhance it. Our mains were chicken scarpariello with mushrooms and sausage. It was not overwhelmed by the usual capers. The presentation included roasted potatoes and a steamed small vegetable medley. My dish was a perfect fettucine bolognese that didn't even need the offered grated cheese enhancement. Even more impressive both dishes arrived steaming hot despite being served away ifrom the main dining room in their outside covered garden. Oh, did i mention the prices were spectacularly affordable?

A very pleasant fresh atmosphere, very relaxed and ready to make you feel taken care of. In this mood the Owner and his staff are constantly making sure you are happy with your orders. Just placing this crunchy bread and an anchovy dried tomato sauce that just marvelous your appetite. Every taste is a pleasure a place that I highly recommend if you are in New York up for a exclusive meal and a nice experience! Enjoy, I did!

Recently had dinner at Barolo East on a Saturday evening. Thought the food was very good, nice selection, very enjoyable. Thought the service was outstanding. Unfortunately, with wood floors and bricks on the walls, very very noisy, keeping me from giving it a fifth star. I will definitely go back, but will try and pick a time where it is not as busy, to hopefully keep the noise down.

Honestly Barolo east one of the best maybe even the best restaurant i have been too. Food was amazing atmosphere amazing and so was the scenery. The restaraunt is a 10/10 recommend very nice place to go out and eat either family, solo, friends etc. Definelty will be visiting again amazing place and service what else can I say.

Great food and service. Loved John and Dino. The wine list was good and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place, great LOCATION.

The food and the service were outstanding. I especially enjoyed the spaghetti with seafood. Only downside was a group of very loud people who diminished the ambiance.

Wow and Wow again Jimmy is probably one of the best waiter I ever had in any restaurant around the world Service 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 Food 5/5 Wine 5/5 Price… always too much 😂 If your in Ny go try the Barolo East

owner mgr comes around frequently to make sure all is good. Arrived with my daughter and my son-in-law for dinner and it was excellent. The food was so great, the selections were very good, manager came around frequently to make certain you're happy and always good the waiter was excellent. The prices were reasonable. Will definitely come again!

Our new favorite spot in Midtown!!The food was fresh and delicious, the service was very good, and great cozy atmosphere they are always welcoming and warm. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends. We eat there every week!!
Good restaurant wonderful service convenient for business
The Barolo was chosen as a place where we would go for a business dinner based in prior recommendation. They more than justified the references and recommendation. The staff was professional took care of us well the menu and options catered to the vegetarians and those with diet restrictions. Most importantly service was timely as we visited there as a break from a board meeting.
